What's new in Adult Gaming?
I've been looking for news stories interesting for adult gamers. Can't find much this week that is interesting.
Here's an article about what ads adults remember seeing while playing video games.
This PSX article says;
"Nintendo has publicly portrayed themselves as a mostly
"family-friendly" company, and they've clearly tried to reinforce that
position with the Wii. For the most part, they're content to let Sony
and Microsoft dominate the adult gamer market."
But I know an awful lot of adults who were getting Wii's this week.
This article about Tomb Raider 'Next Generation' says;
"With this outing, Core [Design] are promising a more detailed and ‘adult’
approach; drawing on influences from role-playing games, as well as
fleshing out the more basic action foundations of the Tomb Braider
series with more possibilities and detail."
This mercurynews.com article has an interesting bit about Playboy and Hugh Hefner;
"Alexander says he has been trying to inject video game culture into the
magazine, and he notes that Hugh Hefner has always been a gamer..."
This article talks about a survey conducted about Video Game Ethics.
