is this confirmed for 2012 [America]?

iirc I saw a Ninty report [one of those future releases sheets] that confirmed this game for release in 2012 for Japan. but the game was still listed as TBA for America, am I right or did I miss something

correct, we don't know whether or not this is a 2012 or 2013 title for the Americas.

No they have not. You are either making this up, or read something wrong. About 2 weeks ago Nintendo put out another worldwide release list. In it Paper Mario is listed 2012 for Japan, but in NA it says TBA. Nintendo has never mentioned any kind of release period for Paper Mario in North America.
