Is it true if we play Assassin Creed on laptop then it will break?

Mom told me like that. I just bought a new laptop and I was begin playing assassin's creed but she told me if I keep playing assassin creed, it will break and I just wasting my money.
My spec is amd turion dual core X2 2.2 GHz, ddr2 3GB, Ati Radeon 3200 256MB, directX 10, vista.
i feel a little bit slow, but it's okay for me

Yes, you're right. I think a "game" is obviously a "program" right? And our pc run programs.

well, as aPaThYBaH said, the laptop certainly isnt going to "break" but your specs are lacking just a bit.
the laptop isnt going to explode or anything, you mother must be fairly confused as to how computers work. If the game runs then fine, but i will say, Assassin's Creed demands a lot from a computer, and i wouldnt recommend playing for extended amounts of time, as the computer will start to heat up a bit.
