It's well suited for fans of Black Isle Studios' previous games, classic hack-and-slash AD&D computer games, and anyone looking for an action-packed role-playing game with a lot of depth.
It has an entertaining storybook plot and is fun to play, which will make you wish it had the poise and styling of the first-rate role-playing game it doesn't even aspire to be.
It's got some interesting characters, a user-friendly interface, and an intriguing magic system, but it gets bogged down by both minor and major problems.
