ya know, since WoW has been out for like 4 years, the graphics are the same! I mean I'm not a big fan anyway, but come on, they could have tried sending like a patch for the graphics.

all mmo games are fun until you get burnt out and just quit. you say you do this all the time.. but hell you practically do the same stuff all the time in all other mmo games.

how is lotro? I have played on and off on wow too, and its all up to the indivitual.. for me its a lot of fun. I think gamespot is being kind to us wow players by providing an external link, because the blizzard downloader sucks balls sometimes

Since i quit wow for Lotro ive been looking back when i was playing , and i realize that i was playing the most repetitive game ever, with the worst community ever. Most wow players complain continuously for a game aimed to keep people coming for the same content, rendered in a different skin. I cannot imagine how wow kept me going for more than 3 years

I wonder how much blizzard payed gamespot to give such an ad to wow. And they give Lotro a B. p.s. for the wow kiddes: yeah you can have my stuff. Take it its all yours.

It's pretty irritating that Gamespot would add a relatively small content update for WOW as main news, when they havent even reviewed the latest EQ2 expantion yet.

EQ2 still exists, gamespot. It may not have the subscriber base, but its a much better game than WOW despite your biased reviews. Lets be honest here, WOW is a simple EQ1 rip off that repackaged the gameplay and dumbed it down. EQ2 for the most part has a far more in depth gameplay system, it is a much different beast than it was at release. Gamespot know it, but they dont want any one else too know. I havent met any ex WOW player who hasnt agreed with me once they have given EQ2 a decent shot.

I agree, the WoW pvp has been totally screwed up. Now I pvp on Horde side and pve on Alliance side. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get Wrath of the Lich King. Time will tell.

I always played on and off with friends. We could never see these big raids, which is a bit disappointing I will just have to wait for Diablo Online or World of Starcraft

I quit WoW as soon as they started to screw up all the class updates

Still waiting on Warhammer, which WoW seems to be frantically trying to copy

i am very amazed by the people who played wow for more than 2 years. I am playing over a year now and spend many time on pvp servers/battlegrounds, but got fed up. If I want PVP action i go to my guildwars account then play there instead. I prefer WoW for pve.

pvp is getting so boring. but wait, we get s4 soon, all the same arenas and bgs, but new gear that everyone will have in the first 2 weeks. yay....

WoW is truely an amazing game. It just does so much right and each of the character classes gain complexity at a pace gamers from the most casual to hardcore can play and enjoy. I do hope that Blizzard comes through soon with a 'next-gen' type version but considering it came out like 4 years ago and still is #1 by far is an amazing testimony to the game. The sheer number of players is astounding and even though I give it up for days at a time I still find myself going back for more questing, see my guild buddies and level up some more.

I recently left wow for everquest 2, and my only regret was playing wow for so long. I will most likely be going to warhammer cuz i want decent pvp, but for the rest eq2 is far superior to wow. and to previous poster, you nieve if you believe wow has 10 million players. 10 mill subscribers maybe, how many people have multiple accounts, how many people quit over the previous 4 years, how many people are just waiting to get off that game? atleast half the subscribers. more and more people come to eq2 from wow everyday, hear it all the time in chat channels, just a matter of time. wow's days are numbered, thats why bliz is making a next gen mmo, and not spending all the cash they're earning giving decent updates and tweaks to that game. 1 exspansion in 4 years? come off it.

"AussieReviewer, warhammer cant beat this game, cmon we have 10 millions players, and Warhammer its still under development lol.

    Blizzard, you OWN"

And your argument is? This is the reason I don't want people to know I'm a WOW fan.

yawn, another high level instance my casual ass won't even see. I do have a 70 but cbf spending bulk hours getting good gear, then joining a guild, which I have to provide mats for thru farming for hours, then spend 5 hrs+ button mashing... more yawn. This is the reason I stopped playing - show more respect to casuals then I'll consider paying, Blizzard. Yawn. Sleepy time.
