    Hi Ninn1000
I know exacly how you feel, i am still a NooB at WoW i have a BloodElf Paladin lvl 64 now, i have played Solo 99% of the time ecept for 1 or 2 instances, the best thing about WoW is it is easy to play but can take years to master also you dont have to put hours & hours in to level up like most MMO's.
I played LOTRO before WoW and i have to say WoW is alot better the only thing i prefured about LOTRO was the cinematics and graphics, but the gameplay is a little slugish and VERY repetative, you basically do dungeons all the time and vey rare you can solo them.
It is worth playing, but imo stick with WoW and find a helpfull/friendly Guild, that way you wont need a friend list.
Lol i'm still level 64 and a m8 of mine who started the same time has 2 lvl 70's and is lvl 40+ on his 3rd, but he doesnt work so can play all the time.
Ever thaught of City of Heroes/City of Villians, it is a VERY friendly MMo, pick up & play, easy to master, get a team as soon as you log on (most of the time) the game is even soloable to max level. Oh and did i mention you can Fly :-P. It is the BEST MMo i have played to date and have been playing 4 years and still not bored of the game, just an idea for you ;-).

I'm level 25 and next month I think i might try out some other MMO's espiecially LORTO. Thats top on my list. But I know wow is a great game but everytime I make a friend with someone I'll be at school for a day and they'll be like 10 levels higher than me. So I'm trying to find a game with nice casual players.

i can agree that this game get very boring after a certain level, and that gamers are literally forced to play this game for hours on end to get 1 new piece of gear, stopped playing this game 2 years ago and don't miss it, MMO's require too much time for the casual gamer

you know, even though i will be one of the first to agree that WOW is a great game ( although i never really got past lvl 15) their customer service is horrible to the point that i am unable to play the game. sometimes i can run it fine and other times it will crash my computer after a few minutes. i have been back and forth with blizzard tech suport several times and they always tell me the same things to do and it never works. Here's hoping Warhammer Online is better in that regard because i know there is no way i can run AOC.

(and i am dying to find a good MMO)

I'm really getting bored of WoW and the whole leveling up process that takes forever. It's not as fun as other games like Final Fantasy and whatnot, what I really want is the game to have up to date graphics and not some cartoonish crap that is over 4 or more years old. Aion: The Tower of Eternity will be the one to fill that gap and make me happy.

I haven't played this game in a while and I stopped right around when the sunwell patch came out. So I played for a good amount of time and had a 70 rogue it was fun but then I eventually traded my WoW account for a GameFly account. I'd rather play various and different games rather than be stuck with a single MMO nowadays.

What a disappointment AOC is, but its the same story over and over again, people promise and when delivery comes, delivery does not equal expectation.... So much potential just wasted.
I hate the fact that 3 years later I am stuck in the same game Wow, I gave up for a year, and then working a dead end job came back to mmporpg, finally back to wow to try tbc, its familiar its dying but its still better than AOC.
I really cannot believe that anyone could design a game purely for a high performance machine with higher and higher specs each time and little average spec...your are targeting the mmo market not all the little kids who buy a new computer just so they can decapitate their foes...which by the way requires even more high specs to watch...rofl.
As to the person who said there are not enough tanks in wow, make me laugh some more...there are not enough tanks because you people don't think ahead

this game isnt for the casual gamer

its more for those people who have 5-10 hours of free time a day to just sit and go on their computer

i, along with 90% of america, dont have this leasure, so i dont find this game to much fun after a certain level

meh, WoW is boring, they havnt added anything special to lure me back in a long time, same old thing, more life consuming instances and yay another easly patchable expansion for a freaking expensive price tag of 43$ TBC wasnt worth it and i dout this one will be either. GG to making hero class stupid, 1 class for 10 million players woot!!

Cru3 is right. Wow is continually patching. They are always making adjustments for the better for players. AoC, and Warhammer are not behind WoW patching at all. i al looking foward to WHO, but as a WoW player, i can confidently say that patches have nothign to do with other game releases. WHO has taken a long time to come, but if you look at the past company switches, takeovers, etc, you will see its gone through about 5 peoples hands to create this game. Finally it is in the hands of a company that will deliever.

I am relogging into WoW this week, and look forward to the patch changes, as it has been months since i last logged.

Sorry to break it to you, but Blizzard has released patches for WoW since beta. It's a normal part of the game updating, not because AoC is coming out.

AoC only really does one thing better then WoW and that's PvP with guild fortresses, and destructibility that makes it feel like a true siege. But WoW is working on that with WotLK so I'm not worried

    Chico100,
Because with 10 million players and growing, WoW felt threatened by an expansion for Age of Conan....doubtful. Age of Conan is nothing special and is not out selling WoW by any means, I don't think Blizzard has seen or sees any MMORPG to be a threat to them ever, or any time soon. Maybe Warhammer Online, if it EVER comes out, but i remember a co-worker at my old job about 2-3 years ago showing me Warhammer Online and well, it's still not out!

AoC is a good game, too bad it takes an amazing rig to run it decently, 90% of WoW players could not even run AoC. I will stick to my Blood Elf Pally.

It won't do better then WoW because people who are more casual and cheap gamers are in no short supply.

Chico100, i really dont think that is the reason why they made that patch AoC has good ideas but i doubt that it will do better than WoW
