I actually think that it is better to disregard the 'to "The Player"' commercial for now, though even I admit that those 2 are a bit too successful to ignore

Mega Man hasn't been relevant for the last 5 years. His last games (MM9 & MM10) and series (ZX & Star Force) were flop.

That's not the point. TC said that Cole and Nathan are from big selling titles so their position is guaranteed. CyborgTwenty claimed that it was the same deal with Megaman and MvC3. Sonic Nash just pointed out that Megaman hasn't been relevant or in a big selling game in a long time, so the characters aren't comparable.
Your sarcasm about Parappa makes no sense though. Nobody said that irrelevant characters aren't needed or shouldn't be in the game, just that they aren't guaranteed positions in the roster even if they're incredibly likely.

ok i'm ending the megaman arguement.
1. Megaman is a cross platform game, the game is called "Playstation All-Stars.
2. Megaman can't do anything but shoot stuff from his Armcannon.
3. in regards to 2, if they did put in cross platform games, Zero would be a better candicate (he has a Sword), or Axle for that matter.

Just for the record, nobody's saying he should be in. (In this thread, anyway). They're just saying he wasn't in MvC3, which was kind of shocking because Megaman's one of capcom's biggest characters.
Honestly, it's the same as Smash Brothers not having Link or Mario, in my eyes. Just unfathomable.
That said, Superbot isn't Capcom. They seem to have an actual respect for the history of Sony, so it's unlikely that they'll just disgrace fans by leaving out massive and important characters like that.

Nothing is guaranteed sure, but it's pretty safe to say Nathan Drake from the Sony Uncharted Series is a Super-Obvious one. There was a lot of hype, crazy anticipation, and it won all sorts of awards. andd it even has a movie coming to theaters in the future. Nathan is very current & relevant (unlike megaman hate to say it) so it makes very much sense for him to be in.
From a smart business perspective, they might go the route of keeping a *few* of the most fan-requested / demanded characters saved for DLC to milk more money out of consumers. That's normal, for businesses to make money. Not all companies make great DLC tho, some do. If they do a great job with DLC and people think it's quality and well-worth it, then they'll spend money. I actually wouldn't mind spending a large sum

Hoping for a 30-40 character roster, with around 5+ DLC characters (and stages). Quality is always > then Quantity !
