What are your thoughts on how the scoring system works and the stages?
Please everyone, this is just people listing their opinions so don't bash one another if you disagree.
The information on the game is minimal so try to keep an open mind. To say something sucks and assume it's a concrete aspect of the game right now is ridiculous. My point; be realistic and open minded here. -_-

I think the scoring system is ok but risky in terms of a balanced game. What if a character has a really good lv1 super? (s)he would be an obvious choice to pick and probably annoyingly overpowered. Of course there are ways around this such as making building meter for that character harder.

Also, I'm not really excited about all the stages so far having hazards. I hope there is an option to turn them off or at least have two very different stages that have no hazards.
What is the point of stage hazards if there's nothing life a life bar? Are they just to get in the way and combo break you or something? Maybe they'll drain your super meter, but I have no idea

This is a random side thing but I think the characters look really small on the stages. I mean like annoyingly small too. Is it just me?

Anyways that's just me and my opinion on the info and videos of the game so far.
    How about you?

Like you said, info is minimal. There could be other modes of fighting or else we haven't even seen all there is to the mode we have been seeing. Smash Bros has several ways to fight like most kills in a certain time, most coins, or just killing them until they run out of lives. And for the supers I'm sure there will be one or two that might be cheap but don't all fight games have some cheap character or move? We'll just have to wait until we get more info.

As of now I am very much disliking the mechanic of gathering energy for "Finishing Moves". It feels like it encourages use of somewhat unsmart gameplay like button-mashing or exploitation. It also somewhat gives the impression of every match to be a toss-up because, from what I've seen in the gameplay, the outcome may easily switch to the person who made the first hit. This is because of the current "Tech" system, or getting back up. This is a different aspect all together.

Seeing how knockback and getting back up works in the game, it seems like Advanced Grabbing Techniques (or smart/ timed use of grabbing) may lead to Lockdown Techniques and therefore throw off the balance that the developers are aiming for completely. This use of grabs may create Infinite Inescapable Loops. For a game that focuses on hitting your opponent(s) as much as possible, these sorts of advantages seem very out of place even though they would increase the skill cap of the game.

This opinion is coming from someone who would enjoy the 1vs1 aspect of this game (competitive). Even though the game does look fun (especially for 4 players), I don't see it becoming very competitive. I will almost undoubtedly be picking this game up, but I hope it greatly improves before release.

How does a sort of Health-based (Stamina) mode sound for this game? It would completely change the way the game is played because it would give normal attacks more importance and make them more than just a way to build up your Finishing Moves.

I like the idea of a health based mode but would every character be given equal amounts of health or would it be individualistic?
    I'd probably say individual amounts

Stage hazards take of "ap" when u get hit by them. Ap is the special meter used for finishing moves.

Superbot said tht the they afe attemting to balance the game by making characters with crazy finishing moves neex more ap than others to bulild their special meter. So altbough somone has a beast level one- its gonna take them longer to gain the meter neccesary to pull it off.

I dont thnk the charwcters look any smaller than ssbb characters with four players on the screen.

This fighting system kind of rreminds me of dissidia!!
