Mega Weapons

Beat the game to unlock weapons you can buy that are an enhanced version of the weapons you already own. You can only buy if you have leveled them up all the way already. These cost a lot of bolts but are even more powerful then the level 5 weapons you already have and they can be upgraded another three times making them very powerful.

Annihilation Nation Trophy Win every challenge in the Annilation Mation.

Strive for Arcade Perfection Get 100% in all five Qwark vid-comics.
Beat Helga's Best Time Complete Helga's VR Hypershot training in under 50 seconds. Hint: Beat it once and all the Hacker puzzles will be unlocked.
Turn Up the Heat Purchase the Infernox Armor.
Monkeying Around Hit Scrunch the monkey with Ratchet's Wrench. Hint: Run the opposite way and then long jump followed by a quick slash to hit him.
Reflect on How to Score Kill 25 ememies with the Refractor on planet Marcadia.
Bash the Bug Beat Scorpio using only the Wrench. Hint: Use the double bladed light saber if this is too difficult.
Be an Eight Time Champ Beat all the gauntlet challenges.
Flee Flawlessly Complete any Gauntlet challenge without taking a hit.
Lights, Camera, Action! Destroy five floating cameras during any Gauntlet challenge. Hint: Just pull out your N60 Storm and fire one shot to take a camera out.
Search for Sunken Treasure Blow up 40 underwater crates on planet Aquatos.
Hit the Motherload Collect all 101 Sewer Crystals. Hint: This cannot be done until the gravity boots have been obtained.
Be a Sharpshooter Snipe 10 Tyhrranoids in towers on planet Tyhrranosis. Hint: Do this during the "Destroy the plasma cannon turrets" mission.
Bugs to Birds Use the Qwack-O-Ray to turn 15 Floranian Blood Flies into ducks on planet Daxx.
Get to the Belt Land on the floating astoroid ring on the Obani Moon. Hint: Go to the highest jump slot (directly behind the ring) and jump on the flashing asteroid.
Bash the Party Kill 20 enemies using only the wrench in Blackwater City.
Feeling Lucky? Win the Jackpot in Holostar Studios. Hint: If they all blow up before you win, leave the planet and return.
2002 Was a Good Year in the City Destroy the Blimp in Metropolis. Hint: Look for a blimp, it'll show up after a minute or two. Three shots from the Sniper Rifle should destroy it.
Suck It Up! Kill 40 ememies using unly the Suck Cannon in the Crash Site.
Aim High Kill 10 Skreeducks in the Crash Site. Hint: They fly around and look like prehistoric birds.
Zap Back at Ya' Kill 10 enemies with the Refractor on planet Aridia. Hint: The Refractor will deflect the Ultra-Mechs attacks. Try this during part 4.
Go for Hang Time Get 2 seconds of air time with the Turbo Slider. Hint: Turn around and go off the giant sand hill at a slight left angle and this will be no problem.
Break the Dan Go to Qwark's Hideout, in the area where you have to jump across the two ice platforms. Go to the right of the area and you'll be able to wall jump
Break the Dan (Continued) up to a snow man. It you destroy him you'll get a skill point. Hint: Don't glide to the wall, you won't be able to wall jump.
You Break it, You Win it On Koros in the Robot base use the Bolt Grabber V2 to destroy all breakables. After a certain amount of destruction you will get the akill point.
Spread Your Germs Infect 30 enemies with the Infector on Mylon.
Set a New Record for Qwark Beat vid-comic Issue 1 in under 2:40 Hint: Ignore all Tokens and take as many short cuts as you can. Do the same for the other 4.
Set a New Record for Qwark Beat vid-comic Issue 2 in under 2:10
Set a New Record for Qwark Beat vid-comic Issue 3 in under 1:50

Ratchet & Clank: UYA Easter Eggs

  • Insomniac Museum

    Go to Metropolis and follow the path over and into the first building, then hop up onto the left window sill and break the window, then hop across to the next building. Hop up onto the left side again and break this window, and there's a teleporter. Go to it at 3:00am-4:00am for the Insomniac Mueseum.

  • Change the Weather

    At Holostar Studios the second room that is raining (not the graveyard) there is a circular button to your right that will change it from raining to snowing.

  • Alternate Way Into Insomnic Museum.

    If you collect all the trophies, the door in the trophy room will open up, revealing the Insomniac Museum.

Ratchet & Clank: UYA Secrets

  • Free Ammo and Health

    Go to any challenge like Annihilation Nation, start the challenge and quit and it refills your ammo and health.

  • Get a discount on weapons

    If you have a save from Ratchet and Clank 1, you get a 10% discount on weapons when you buy them. Save must be past the 2nd hoverboard race.

  • Free weapons.

    Although you can buy any of these weapons during the game, you can get them free from Slim Cognito on Aquatos at certain times in the game if you have a Ratchet & Clank:Going Commando save file on your memory card. The weapons are, Miniturret Glove, Lava Gun, Shield Charger, Bouncer, and Plasma Coil.

  • Skip Quark vidcomics

    Go to the game system on Starship Phoenix with a vidcomic that you haven't beaten yet. Now select the level of the unplayed vidcomic. Scroll up to the first one and press Up again. If it's the fifth vidcomic then press Up yet again. As long as from the first vidcomic you get back to selecting the latest unplayed vidcomic, press X to play. The game prompts to skip the level. Agreeing will finish the level with no records. In Challenge Mode, it will show no records EXCEPT the best time you got during your first try in the game.

  • Re-play completed Hacker puzzles

    To re-play a completed Hacker puzzle: Stand in front of it, hold R1, then press Triangle.

Ratchet & Clank: UYA Glitches

  • Free Ammo

    On the starship phoenix, do to any holographic training, when you enter the training, immediately leave it, your ammo will be full

  • Inferno Mode / Rift Crossover in Arena Challenges

    Once you finish an arena challenge at Annihilation Nation, if there is an Inferno Mode crate laying around, you can trigger it after you win the challenge, and you will still have the effect in the next challenge. The same thing happens with the Rift Inducer/Rift Ripper's votrexes; if you shoot some after the challenge is over (but before the screen goes black) they will still be there when the next challenge starts. This is a good way to do some damage without having to use any ammo, and doing this with an Inferno crate can make single-weapon challenges much easier; as long as you don't try to fire your weapon, you can do them entirely with the wrench. (This does not seem to work with the Suck Cannon/Vortex Cannon challenge; when I tried it, I got a "Out of enemies to use for ammo" message and lost in Round 2.)

  • Wall Hacking

    Allows you to pass through any wall, forcefield, etc. You need the megaturret (miniturret works too but megaturrets work much better). Place yourself against the wall facing the opposite of it and place very closely 1 to your left and 1 to your right. If done correctly, the screen will start to shake. Now place a megaturrent infront of you very closely and you will either have gone through the wall or the screen is violently shaking. If it is shaking then try to move through the wall by running or charge boots.
