Strictly on its own merits, this version is a good but unimpressive action adventure that still smacks of being a watered-down port of a technically superior game.

The world is on the brink of war once again, and only Sam Fisher can pull it back. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory sends him around the world, from Panama to the Koreas to Japan, in an attempt to trace the ultimate source of a technological terror attack.
