Though it wasn't possible when SoulCalibur IV arrived in stores, Darth Vader and Yoda can now be pitted against each other regardless of which platform you're playing on. Adding an extra Star Wars character to your roster isn't free, though, and at around five dollars it's not great value either.

    So any people say SF4 is better this Soul Calibur IV, i own both lemme say this, theyre both good, but i think Soul Calibur is a lot better

    i hate the exclusive character bull for each console, it destroyed soul calibur when it was awesome with the dreamcast version.

    Darth Vader on XBOX 360 is worth the cost on Marketplace....
    the reason is simple, 1. you have to be a fan of Star Wars and Soul Calibur like a die hard fan, 2. Darth Vader truly finishes Chain Of Souls, a small detail but it explains his motivations and illustrates hit relationship with the Soul Calibur Universe....

    Yoda, Starkiller and Vader aren't in Soul Calibur just for show, it plays off the mythology of all those characters.....

    I like the detail he reviews with but he couldn't sound less excited about reviewing this game... it's kind like he just woke up roled out of bed and recorded this.

    As for game quality, great, the ability to completely customize a character right down to color matching armor and breast augmentation is crazy.

    Might purchase this used for $15. Also, Gamespot - Don't use reviewers who you can't hear, ok? The gameplay in the backround is louder than the reviewer.

    Why do almost all of Gamespot's reviews sound like they're bored as hell? The people could add at least a little enthusiasm. If the game is good, act like it's good.

    tekken is the best for sure, to me personally i hate SF4 the 2D style gameplay with all the silly way to do combos sucks
    but thats just me... i think i might like this game it looks more like tekken than SF4... ( i heard psp version is getting Kratos! if the ps3 one does, im soooo going to get it )

    Just wondering if i should get this game or not.

    I am a big Tekken fan but recently bought SF4 which i didn't like at all (and i've got rid off). Is it worth getting or should i just sit on my hands and wait for Tekken 6 to come out?

    good game and if you have to choose between sf4 and this you have to remember sf4 plays like a 2d fighter so no ring outs or any of that only back and forth but still im goona get both

    I think 360 users (like me) where so happy when Darth Vader came out as DLC, considering that he is way better then Yoda. On the other hand, PS3 users weren't to fond of Yoda as DLC.

    Wow, i didn't belive it, but yeah, Justin doesn't sound too good in this review, but is still a nice review, anyway, i'm planning to get SC4 soon, it looks like a good game.

    I love weapon-based fighters, and I'm looking forward to beating some heads in again. A small gripe; why do people refer to the first game as Soul Calibur? Soul Blade on PS1 kicked the whole thing off in '97, and THEN they improved on it in '99. They were both done by Namco, so what have i missed? Anyway, I can't wait!
