It'd be awesome if the warrior pieces actually performed a fatality when they attacked. I'd pay $20 for that.
I got this yesterday for $7.99 and I like it so far. As shown in the video the graphics are really good but ya I think its kind of shady to spend a lot of time showing the DLC that isn't even avaliable yet. Even in the background of the main menu they show video of a different set of DLC chess pieces behind the menu options. I was dissapointed when I realized that they weren't even part of the game I just bought. All in all I'm not a huge chess player but it is relaxing and I have been enjoying playing it.
I definitely would be interesting in this for my son but I hope that there are smart AI pc opponents to play. My son needs more games that are non violent and this fits the bill.
@DeViLzzz Fritz is already out for PS, is a proven product on many platforms, and has plenty good AI. This company has touted no game play features at all so please don't reward them for trying to hypnotize the viewer with fancy graphics that mean nothing for a chess program.
"Footage shown includes premium content"! Seriously? All we saw were some chess pieces sliding around a board! Maybe we should pay some extra to download the correct rules of the game, too, for people that want 'en passant' in their game!
Trailer criticism: stupid chess moves and positions, doesn't show anything about the learning, and the word is "sacrifice", not "sacriface" at 1:18. Not interested.
@apollo333 Yeah what in the heck did we see that should be listed as premium content ? Sorry but everything I saw in the video should be in the regular game.
@JimInPT Since the game producers didn't bother to say anything about the chess and only tried to flaunt the graphics your rhetorical question is a but misdirected.
