    So i've seen people say this game can be hard at times. How hard does it get? Painfully difficult at times?

    It isn't very difficult, you only have to play the original Rayman to see that. The main difficulty comes from level landscapes which change faster than the human reaction time, so mastering it is mainly about memorisation.
