"He was my best friend and I'll always believe in him." -- John Watson - May 22, 2012 10:04 pm GMTThis question might not fully relate to the Japanese version but:
I hear a lot about the lag in the game since there's no install data option and people leaving the game running for about 30 mins before starting to play. So I assume this is needed every time I boot up the game right? That's kinda unfortunate and not so fun.
Also is there any word from Aksys or Ghostlight about this issue? Is it going to be the same for us? - May 23, 2012 12:01 am GMTRyuni posted...

the 30 min is just me. Usually when I do that I experience little to no lag when I play, whether it loads on the world map or in battle.
it isn't needed, its just something I do since I tend to leave my PS3 on when I'm on my computer anyway

PSN: RPGKenneth - May 23, 2012 2:19 am GMTJust out of curiosity, is RoAW2 easier or harder to platinum? Because I was able to earn RoAW and RoAWZ platinum, but it took a long time especially for the titles trophy. Thanks!

Nah, only takes maybe a minute or two to load in the beginning before you can start playing.
You can see what it is like on my Live-Stream Q&A soon.

Too easy to platinum unlike 1 or 0.

^I say no because they didn't do it for zero or 1
At least we will have the story translated and marriage scenes - May 24, 2012 11:06 am GMTThis is most likely a dumb question but how do you pronounce Agarest?

Yup, this is how I pronounce it. Can't really think of any other ways of saying it.

I'm a ladies man and i loves my ladies - May 27, 2012 6:39 am GMTRegarding the gameplay and batte system.
Before I ask, I just want tto say, I'm in the process of obtaining the truth ending and therefore the platinum trophy in Cross Edge.
Now we've all heard about the difficulty on this game along with the learning wall required to play this game to the fullest.
With that said, I'm wondering if the gameplay of RoAW2 is in the same level of difficulty and challenge as Cross Edge? It's. not too important, but I did greatly welcome the difficulty in CE,, so I was hoping for some more brutality.
Now about the Battle System, sort of the same question as before, there's enemies in. CE, that in the point I'm at in the game, are destroying my party in one turn XD!!!!! Madness, and I love it, reminder of how much my party still has to go.
With that said, how far is this game from that level of difficulty.
Sorry, btw if my post is a mess and hard to read.
And thanks TC, the info that you provide is immensely appreciated, thanks for your time and effort, really

Official -Stunna-Squirtle- of any board. - May 27, 2012 6:55 am GMTForgot to ask, how's this game in the fan service department?.
Now let me explain, my wife is not all that into Hentai, or by that extent, hates anything that it's intended for an Adult to grasp via images, dialogue etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is, that given my wife doesn't really like fan service, my question is
How much of this game will I have to play when she's doing activities of her own?. I know for a fact that the minigames will create some disputes, especially the bath tub one. In other words I just don't wanna make her mad, she's ok with me playing is just those few scenes that I'm worried about.

Might be better to just play all of it while she isn't there then, seeing as this CH series is probably one of their worst when it comes to fan-service being in

Hmm, not too much that I can remember. I barely used any costumes in my game (aside from a few iirc).

Since you played Cross Edge, you know what to expect from enemies pretty much.
Obviously not reinforcing your weapon and armor as well as keeping your gear up-to-date (if possible) will hurt you.

Aside from the mini-game, there really isn't too much fan-services aside from certain "innuendo fan-service CG" events.
There will be times you might have to distract your wife away when those event comes.

http://www.youtube.com/MasterLLLL's Game Videos - http://themasterll.net - May 27, 2012 11:55 am GMTThanks for the quick response guys, and for the honesty as well.
It seems that given some of the events contain some kind of fan service, I will be using some kind of guide, at least for those few events like Master LL mentioned.
Any word on official guide?, tbqh the Cross Edge guide was far from what a true guide is, although the info about characters was nice.
Hopefully the official guide is actually a 'guide', and I'm so glad to hear the difficulty is along the lines of CE.

Btw, just preordered this, I really wanted the LE but, the only things I really want are the art book and the nice box the games in. Too bad it's a bundle though so I just got the RE.

New graphics, design and battle. Hence the developers wanted to create an alternate world because of this new style.
Regardless, you will see everything that you've seen from the previous Agarest series, just not a continuity that's all.

Are the optional/post game bosses the same as the last two games? Are the ultimate weapons as hard to acquire? Meu is DLC? Do the DLC packs have ultimate weapons like the others?
