You might want to add that you can find a rattlesnake easily when you hear their rattle as you're riding around.

Thanks allot! When I try to hunt for animals and can't find them I usually give up, but with this guide, my friends and myself, are hunting on free roam easily.

this is quite cool , so in the game the second or 3rd last mission you have to find and rescue your son from a bear and you kill it , after you beat the game if you head around that vacinty there will be about 10 grizzlys if you skin them you get a grizzly heart which is worth about $30 , easy money and hunting

You seem to be missing sheep, which can be found in Armadillo, near the train tracks.

also you can find many cougars in west elizabeth next to the great plains. it is seen in your map.

Look near ranches or hideouts. I saw some bulls behind Twin Rocks when I cleared out that hideout.
All bears are found near Tall Trees. Look there.

Didn't see it mentioned, but I found several raccoons while looking for foxes South of Beecer's Hope - right where the fox emblem is. Found a few beavers there, too, in the same location. Finally, there were some boar, so I guess their range stretches a little west from where they are marked on the map.
I found all the animals towards the late evening/early morning.
