- Jan 10, 2012 11:04 am GMTWoah, my post was too long. Continued!
Hand tremors. Leon is supposedly a former cop and is a trained government agent and yet he can't hold his hands steady worth a ****. BS. DItto for the other characters.
The overgrown Dr. Salvador with a dual-bladed flaming chainsaw in the fourth Mercenaries stage. Where was he during the story?
The plagas on the Regenerators. You can see them only with the thermal scope, but if you shoot the same spots with the naked eye you won't kill the Regenerator faster.
The huge boulder interrupting the path to the next area, that you either need to blow up with TNT or with a rocket. The villagers clearly have been mining for a long time, did they just dig around and over this boulder on purpose? Look, when you get there, there are already 2 villagers on the other side waiting for you too so, yeah. What?
The herb vials. So not only Leon/Ada carry around obscene amounts of ammo, grenades and other things, they also have vials for putting the mixed herbs into.
The distinct lack of blue herbs. I know, there's the distinct lack of poisonous enemies as well, but still, blue herbs were always present regardless of anything, shouldn't they have grown anywhere in the game as part of the scenery? Do they HAVE to be an item in order to exist?
Also I get that herbs can heal wounds and cure poison, but how exactly can a yellow herb increase vitality?
The villager that stole Leon's jacket. His body doesn't melt after being killed. Furthermore, how come Leon never questioned the fact that someone stole his jacket and indeed never tried to find it again?
The merchant sells guns but not ammo or explosives, despite clearly having them in stock.
THE WHOLE MILITARY ISLAND. Need I say more?
---
PSN: AlexxShadenk777 - Jan 11, 2012 3:23 pm GMTThe fact that there is a shotgun AND ammo but none of the villagers use it.
The villagers are too scared to go up the tower in the first part with the chainsaw ganado.
no female nuns in the castle.
the fact that the clawed blind ganado was strapped near the switch. how was anyone suppose to turn that fire off?
why doesnt the ganados buy from the merchant?
how is the merchant conviently always there unharmed?
the fact that they put armor halfway on only some of their soldiers
leon doesnt seem to care about ashley dying.
also on a side note leon doesnt seem that into caucasian girls. He turned down his over time but flirt with hennigan while ashley IS STILK THERE ON THE JET SKI. also he prefers ada over claire in re2. WHO CAN BLAME HIM?

Currently playing Tekken 6, Dynasty Warriors 7, Mortal kombat 9

I'd say that was due to his "David Bowie-Ness"
I don't know if it has already been mentioned, but Why didn't Sadler just let Leon take Ashley back to America?
Besides the Required Resident Evil villain Ego Stroking and Toying with Victims.

I prefer Genaro's. But what do I know? I'm a bear. I suck the heads off fish! - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang~~~
- Jan 14, 2012 9:16 pm GMTI know AlexxShadenk777 mentioned the whole military island, but I had to point out the cuts of Rotten Meat that Leon was ready to grill up. I'm gonna chalk that one up to the parasite affecting his mind(I hope...).
Also, oven man? What the hell did he do to get put in there? He must've made a snarky comment about Saddler's dress or his Tenta-wang...

It has been asked already, Saddler still needed to get the ransom money first.

Leon didn't say he wanted to eat the rotten meat, if I remember the text right, he said "I could really go for a juicy steak right about now" or so. Semantics.
Ovenman was put in there just for kicks. It was a moment just to startle you a bit, didn't matter how or why he got into the oven.
One can assume the soldiers found him dead and didn't want to bury him so they put him in the oven instead and were too lazy to burn him completely, possibly because of the horrible smell. That kitchen really doesn't look like it smells too... fresh.

PSN: AlexxShadenk777 - Jan 21, 2012 7:29 pm GMT^The way the sentence was written: "the meat's rotten, but I could sure use a fat, juicy steak right about now..."
It kind of reads(to me) that he know's the meat's rotten, but he was thinking of grilling it up next to the oven man, lol...(no, I know he wasn't going to eat it, it just read kind of funny, like an incomplete sentence/bad translation). It's the "but' throws me off when I read it("this meat's rotten, but I'd hate to waste the A1 sauce in my attache case..."
.
The way I would have wrote it:" Too bad that this meat's rotten; I could really have gone for a steak right about now..."
Pretty sure Oven Man was NOT dead when they threw him in there...I know it was a jump scare, and it'd be pointless to question the logic of parasites inside of mind-controlled people...I just assumed he p#####d somebody off like "pitchfork woman" in the earliest part of the village.

"This page is already dead." - Jan 22, 2012 4:32 pm GMTMaybe.
I got a few more things that made no sense, can you believe it?
Ada's Reports. If you read the small text in the top left corner of the screen, it says Visual Player. Shouldn't it say Video Player?
The entire course of Separate Ways... well I could list off the entire parts where there's a time paradox, namely everytime you pop a crate that Leon would pop again later, but whatever, it's a videogame. However, Krauser is first defeated by Leon, right. Later he appears befeore Ada, throwing a girder at her, which she dodges. Why isn't it there when Leon arrives? You clearly see it being thrown at Ada and it penetrates the ground, and you know at this point that Leon is progressing behind Ada by then. If it had indeed been left behind, it could've served as a foreshadowing element for when you get there the first time and investigate the girder, and wonder how'd it get embedded in the ground like this.
Secondly, what, did Krauser get resurrected by the plaga? Is he a zombie now? And if he is... how he is able to still say "Come on!" at Ada in between stages of the fight?
Also another thing that makes little sense, Krauser's so easily damaged by the knife, dying after very few slashes. Every other boss in the game has great endurance to the knife, but not Krauser. Hmm...

Leon not agreeing to Ashley's "overtime". BS.
To be honest this is the only thing that makes no sense at all, i'm sure all these other things could be explained, but this is just outright ridiculous!

I'm sure the Ganado Fortress Clean-Up crew patched that girder right up, along with restoring the ammo boxes. Can't have a bunch of foreigners messing the place up, and taking the ammo that's collected yet never used by Los Illuminados...
As for Krauser's resurrection, he survived that chopper crash a few years back with no prob. His can opener arm resurrected the rest of his body. You think he can't survive Leon knifing him in the face a few hundred times?

But isn't the Ransom just so the US doesn't get suspicious? If Ashley was "Rescued" they wouldn't be suspicious.
Saddler clearly has the cash, He leaves treasure all over the place!

MiNdBeNdEr420 - Jan 30, 2012 5:20 pm GMTDid anyone mention the oven in Mendez's house? Doesn't a chicken jump out at one point? Guess Mendez didn't have time cook and kill it, what with choking Leon out and stepping on him.

"I'll make you MEOW, b####!!" - Feb 3, 2012 4:22 am GMTVillagers will always try to set and climb the ladder they fell down from when you kicked it, until they die.
All breakable barrels and boxes are made with the efficiency of a machine... in a run-down village, they will always have the same dimensions, materials, color, and the same amount of wear and tear, no matter where it is.

Hn... - Feb 3, 2012 5:58 am GMTthis game is very funny but its still probably one of the best games i've ever played.
- Feb 3, 2012 8:33 am GMT@sehr0
It makes no sense to you that a funny game can be a good game?

Straight to the pointless. - Feb 5, 2012 11:54 am GMTWhen you play separate ways and get to the house that Leon met Luis in, the wardrobe that Luis was in is cOmpletely gone. You even see the ganados take away Leon and Luis but no one is seen moving furniture out of the house ....

MiNdBeNdEr420 - Feb 5, 2012 6:46 pm GMTHere's another thing. Ada's grappling hook gun. It's gotta be the most unbelievably durable hook gun ever made, with a seemingly infinite rope and powerful enough to not just lift and pull a fully grown woman, but also SLING her across a great distance with enough force to not let gravity pull her down, all of this in a gun the size of a normal pistol. And it does not seem to use any kind of pressured gas or gunpowder, I suppose it also runs on batteries (and is possibly also solar-powered and chargeable but I digress).
That, gentlemen, is hardcore science right there. Money well spent. Imagine being able to shoot this thing FREELY throughout the entire game. Just Cause 2, anyone?
Meanwhile Leon has a grappling hook that he conveniently only used once and was never mentioned ever again for the rest of the game, but, pfft, it's only good enough to suspend a person for a little while. Ada's hook gun is the real friggin deal!

PSN: AlexxShadenk777 - Feb 16, 2012 7:53 pm GMTThe sheath on Leon's chest looks like it's only good for a butter knife, yet when he pulls it out, the blade looks like a small sword.
Apparently, all the choppers are flown by blind pilots, or someone flying for the first time.
The enemy placing explosive oil drums next to their catapults. (well, I guess they were flaming projectiles, so that might explain that one)
Leon's jacket....stolen? (can't recall where his outfit change occurs, exactly) One of the Ganados must have gotten tired of wearing the same thing that everyone else in the village is wearing. - Feb 18, 2012 9:21 am GMTNinkyo893 posted...

It gets chilly in NotSpain, and who doesn't like a decent bomber jacket?
