I loved the first Risen on 360, yeah it had faults but an interesting world where you were left to make your own decisions, right or wrong, without the hand holding that seems standard in most modern RPG's.

Combine that with the pirate setting, still think Disney dropped the ball cancelling their POTC RPG, & I thought people would be chomping at the bit for the game.#

Instead hardly any interest on here & most of my friends didn't even know it was coming out!

I had to sneak over here from the ps3 board. There is NOTHING going on about this game. it seems to have so much to offer. all I hear are crickets now.

lets hope something breaks soon.

No, the main stream games media does not do well with games like this that don't look great and play a little janky no matter how good the story/dialogue/atmosphere is. It's a shame.

loved the first 1, that magic system wasn't that great but risen 2 looks amazing especially with all that vodoo magic stuff. looks great.

I traded my GoldenEye (which I did not like) and Lost in Shadow (that I bought for 10$, and I bought it again for 10$ after trading it ) for this game. I'm happy, it is far from being the best game I've played, I feel more like playing a free MMORPG, but still, it is fun. I would just tell to everyone to wait for a price drop before buying it. And if you like pirate stuff, then its good because there is not a lot of pirate games, especially not on console
