Tom McShea spells trouble for the citizens of Stilwater in this video review for Saints Row 2.
This is stupid, the reviewer does nothing but praise the game and it gets an 8. The GTA IV review even says the game is not perfect and it gets a 10.
"Why do you even have to compare it to GTA IV? Oh that's right, ignorance!" -- Ps3gameplayer The comparison was aptly made because GTA is the torchbearer and yardstick of how games of an open-world, urban-sprawl nature are measured, you dummy.
I cant wait for my ps3 to download this, I bought this game a while ago at best buy but it was so glitched I couldnt progress the campaign past certain missions so that sucked, hopefully the download version works fine. From what I did get to play of it, I loved it.
downloaded this game last night and playing it now. Already loving it. This is the first time I can play a character that actually looks like myself: a cute black girl ;D
gameplay looks fun, but the character movement n graphics are somewhat turn me off...better wait for sr3
This game looks quite good, worth the rental to check it out, then I would buy it after a test, but from this review I see that the developer's don't want it anything to by like GTA IV so I might give it a go as it seems like no holds barred fun.
I love anything open world... and definitely loving this one! I thoroughly enjoyed GTA 4 (and am still enjoying the expansions), but this one is completely different. It's got a significantly elevated level of "ridiculous" that GTA was lacking (for good reason) so with both titles, we get the best of both worlds. GTA paints a (marginally) realistic picture of a city, and SR2 does the opposite. Not sure why people are complaining. Both games are awesome! =)
@AwsomeCowboy16 Maybe you should keep that opinion to yourself. This game is similar to GTA, but the similarities don't make it a rip-off. That's like saying Mafia II is a rip-off of GTA IV.
As the realism in this game is pretty low, it's still fun with all the cool stuff you are able to do.
I like this game, I just like GTA IV better. I'm some sort of a realistic gamer. But whatever, this isn't GTA IV.
I just dont know about this game its just too unrealistic I think that I would get bored of it very quickly... Maybe I just like realistic stuff more like GTA4
Sooo good, they fixed the graphics and made it so much fun! :) made a craaazy character, love customizing my crib and hideout, SAINTS ROW > GTA
Hey, unlike GTA4, this game looks like it's actually fun. I got GTA4 hoping it would be something more like this, but they pay too much attention to reality in it.
