this is a good game the bosses are for the most part amazingly designed. and rewarding to beat i suggest turning up the difficulty and setting in for some serious fun. this is a must play good score

Its a must play game!!! Original ideas in some level and its hilarious Good 2 see some creativity in a game, especially in this genre, 2 thumbs up
Definately not of my taste, but after having played it, I must admit that it is a good game. It's a matter whether you like the style of Suda 51, or not.
This game is awesome, I agree with you MetricBilly, they should do some DLC so we can drink more sake
I absolutely love this game, it's sad to see these Japanese titles not being marketed properly in the US. It happened with Vanquish too and now the same team is making the new Metal Gear Solid game. Kinda weird that EA published this and yet barely told anyone about it. If it wasn't for the lack of a Game+ feature I would recommend this to anyone but i was a little disappointed to pay $60 for this game on its day of release and then beat it in 10 hours with no option for Game+. It's sad because the game is actually phenomenal.

Look I just can't help myself, when all the lights are out, it's dark and you got a golden goat head just mounted there, asking for it, who wouldn't wanna' just whip it out and shoot it with your hot boner.
I want this game sooo badly. It looks seriously and awesomely weird, but as Linaxel said, this is Suda 51. Craziness is their expertise.
Why is everyone whining about humor instead of horror. Guys seriously this is Suda 51 we're talking about. Just think about No more heroes wich one of my favourite games. Suda's games are always unique and well kinda crazy. Shadows of the damned is NOT a survival-horror game or whatever you expected because it is never meant to be get over it.
The humor completely blew the horror out of this game. Leave the humor to Devil May Cry and Dead Rising...
I love how the reviewer emphasizes the consistency and diversity of SotD. To me it doesn't matter how mind blowing or revolutionary the game is, if it doesn't hold up after around the 8 hour mark, it doesn't deserve a respectable rating.
Gore and the "f" word. All the ingredients needed to convince 12 year olds that it's a "mature" game. The gaming industry is getting desperate.
some of the weird things are not to my taste, but it looks like a very unique and interesting game, with a great art style ...maybe a buy when its a bit cheaper

Why are people saying that this looks like RE4? Sure, they may play similar, but from what I've seen they have a totally different atmosphere. This is a must buy for me. But I'll wait for a price drop, since I have too many games to finish yet!!
Just finished this game. Disappointed. It is unique, but it is more goofy and comical than disturbing and scary. Def don't buy, rent at most. Don't expect too much...
This is one of those rare excellent games that no one plays. It really is worth a play through.
This game has sold less than 50k world-wide, show your support and pick it up if it's interesting you.

@rebfaction well just finished the game i have to say story was weak, combat a bit too easy and cliched but still i enjoyed it cause it was refreshing and i like the darkness/hell concept the studio was trying to pull. Just try it u may like it.
I just finished it. I really enjoyed it. It's one of the best games I've played this year. I really wish games like this would sell better. I'd hate to live in a world where all we get is the bland shooters with no originality or imagination.
@Varunvikram1 I am not lower-rating this game because it plays like RE4 read my comment again. This game is not that good of a game combat bad game-play bad graphics bad voice-acting terrible so a 8.5 for this game NOOO WAAAY like I said more like a 6.5. This a great game I don't think so.
the gameplay looks like RE4 and the history like Dante's Inferno... It's a regular game but i won't buy it...

What is wrong with the reviewers of GS this a 8.5 this must be a joke. To say this looks different than any-other game is nuts Resident Evil 4 type game-play. I have seen better games then this get lower scores.

Looks very different to other games out there at the moment, once it goes down a bit in price I will definitely give this one a go.
