@KSICodyss I completely agree. WE/PES was so great back in the day. Awesome arcade feel, catchy, cheesy music, and you could customize everything. But the gameplay didn't age well and the fact they could not get all the major leagues, sometimes even having a ripoff of Chelsea or Bayern Munich, was depressing.
winning eleven 4 (pro evolution soccer 1) was, is and always will be the best football game ever... except for sensible world of soccer.
@FELOFLOW I agree 100% PES was always better than FIFA on PC until fifa 11 the previous ones looked like garbage. I still like some things pes does better than fifa but right now pes is falling behind.
@bigruss51 Pfff PES WAS BEST ALL TIMES IN PC than FIFA if u are a real FOOTBALL fan like me u should now that fifa only start to have better grapichs in pc since fifa 11 go and see fifa 10 or 9 and compare to the fifa of PS3 or 360 FIFA IN PC SUCKS in that days soo i always was WINNING ELEVEN FAN but when fifa 11 come to the pc with the same or better Graphics than the CONSOLEs and star to use well my GPU i start to like Fifa and my fav is PES 2009 but when pes 2010 come out i dont like more the pes games

The "8-2 be an Arsenal fan" jokes are so tired now.. truly disappointing season but I hope the board realizes how much money they'll be losing by failing to qualify for CL rather than just investing in the players needed.

Loved the 8-2, brought back to earth by the 1-6. Looking forward to 1-0s every week. The 5-3 was a classic though.
haha...nice video! Funny, but really informative! But I'm all about PES ever since i played winning eleven in 2003. The last time I owned a fifa game was fifa 2002. Fifa has better licenses.And recently easports ,with fifa12 ,has surprisingly improved gameplay a lot !!! But IMO, Pro Evolution Soccer still has an edge over fifa! And yeah, I own both now, pes2012 and fifa 12.
Great video. FIFA is what I play and have played for a long time. Just picked up FIFA 12 and i'm having a blast.
this game is sucks .. its the worst pes game i ever play, i can dribble with the worst player and score a goal
haha, that brings back some memories (actually got a blister on my thumb from playing italia '90 so much lol, well. . that and road rash). And now I feel old. Also just occured to me that my megadrive didnt break once. . and I was a child so I should of destroyed it easily. Microsoft need to get lessons from the Sega boys. Fifa for me:)
Konami´s International Superstar Soccer (Series), great game! for me, the predecesor of modern versions. Revolutionary game! Nice to remember the good old times.
Soccer sim by EA a remake for 6 years ,,mmmm coming from a Madden fan i believe EA would never try to sell me a glorified roster update with a few slight graphic and game option tweaks and call it new every year.
@smiffy555 is the same game but every year they updated and improve it, the same goes for NBA, NFL, MLB.

Winning eleven 9 gets my vote! So true about buying the one your friends play. I buy FIFA because that's all they'll play, it's a good time but when they all leave PES goes in and I'm in heaven :)
really funny stuff!!! I love PES, but you can't ignore the licensing and more mature approach of the latest FIFA titles... So, now i own both... Also, @dannyodwyer i'm also an Arsenal fan... we'll never hear the end of that 8-2...
Yay, a re-release for 6 straight years! When are people going to realise they've been playing the EXACT same game for the past 6+ years? Yet these idiots still fork out the money for the same game, over and over again. It's like a yearly fee or something.
My friends and I all play Pro Evo. Not because it's better, just because we're used to it. We did try FIFA '10 but we just raged "THE BUTTONS ARE DIFFERENT!" and then popped in Pro Evo '10 and relaxed.
1 Like ok pointless post i know but it kinda bugged me with the title lol no not alright soccer it is football it isnt our fault the yanks made a wussy version of rugby and called it football and decided to call our sport soccer so backwards im telling ya it is football not soccer!!! i know will probly get thumbs down for this but hey its all truth :D
Fifa without a doubt! excellent montage. Wish more reviewers were more jokey in the reviews. Fifa International Soccer was my first football memory. The celebration were brilliant and the fact u could score from a gk hittin an opposing player was funny. World Cup Italia 90 was good. A lil too easy though. Then got fifa 96 and 97. The latter was better, the licencing was superb and the indoor matches were brilliant fun. Fifa 99 was the last good one for a while. Loved ito fo r it's difficulty and that u could create your own tournaments with a your own club i.e. name, kits. I got fifa 2003, but was v easy to score. Looked great though. Then went to Pro evo, 2 and 4 especially were watershed moments. The master league on 4 was fiendishly addictive. Taken ages to get ranked number 1 in career mode. Durin uni I had great battles with my mates on pro evo. Got fifa 09 and though it was better it was still too easy, and it was a the PS2 version. Then got fifa 11. The game I will not stop playin. Career mode on hardest difficulty is reasonably difficult but online is where it's at. Unbelievably competitive and addictive. Looks stunning, tricks are difficult but worthwhile, tactics crucial, player individuality is believable. And the referee is actually spot on 90% of the time. Long live the Fifa vs Pro Evo battle but it's Fifa for me 1000%
That was terrific. The part at the end about FIFA and Pro Evolution kinda made me wonder how much better Madden would be if it had any sort of annual competition.
