Some suggestions of games that scared me: Undying, Silent Hill 2, Call of Cthulu, Nocturne (+ Blair Witch Volume 1), S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Dead Island.

I'm out of ideas, myself. I can think of a few stressful games or ones that have there little moments, but they aren't horror genre type. (for example, Indigo Prophecy.)

Honestly, I've always found Fatal Frame/Project Zero to be the scariest, mainly due to the sounds and the constant children chanting, than anything else.

I do think Haunting Ground would be fun to watch, in the idea of the commentary you'll likely be saying to one another.

I never played it but Obscure is supposed to be like one of those teenage horror flick type of games. But as the title is named, the game is very Obscure to find (although the PC version is likely easier to get, but how well it's ported I also wouldn't know.). Obscure Aftermath is much easier to find but I've heard it's not as good.

If anyone's up for a challenge...

1) Have this "House of Horrors" video paused at the beginning (0:00).

2) Turn this video's volume off.

3) Have the following song paused at the beginning, and leave the sound on.

This game is/was awesome!-Here's a tip for the Mourner ghost:don't move at all(they hear you and attack), have your highest film ready and DON'T let him turn around!Just spam the shutter button as he begin's to turn his head;if you shoot him then,he WONT turn around, he'll just stand there with his back to you.Repeat till he's ''dead''.I have defeated this dude with that little strategy time and time again without him ever turning around and hurting me; it work's and it's kind of funny.

Great video and terrifying game!!! Have they played the original Dead Space? That was maybe the last true horror game I played on consoles

I just wanted to say that next time (if) you guys go for a 3rd time, look out of one of the windows (don't remember which one.) thru the view finder of the camera. Pretty sure it's in that same house that you left off. Think Zorine almost did it on her own, but didn't get close enough to the window.

Let's see... according to gamefaqs it's a window in: KIRYU, 1F HALLWAY OF CONTRASTS, west and into the little alcove behind a blue curtain. The same place where you found Film 4.

of course if you wanna stick to the bigger franchises i would really like to see one of this generations horror games in there...something like bioshock or silent hill: homecoming or as i suggested Siren : Blood curse

like in the start you enter the water the lights go out, you go towards the light that comes on,pick up an item and splicers jump you

or the first time you get a shotgun ..it's pretty creepy too

and it doesnt really matter what kind of games i play as long as i like them

@almoalgam I LOVED SIREN BLOOD CURSE on psn, its by far one of the best survival horror games this generation, i love how its not like resident evil, where you have lots of guns an ammo, you have to use everyday items as weapons, every survival horror fan should play this game, so underrated! its so damn scary, i love the japan setting, an with an emphasis on running away an hiding, this is what true survival horror is!!!

@almoalgam Is Homecoming any good? I've started playing but only went past the nightmare. After that, I stopped a bit later and never got around to continue the game. Then Downpour came out and I just thought I'd go for that one instead...

@wexorian play amnesia probably the scariest game I've ever played, can't wait for the sequel. If you have a PS3 I heard Siren was pretty good, it's a series of 5 episodes but you can buy the bundle cheap. Outside of that, yeah not to many developers taking chances on horror any more. And we'll definitely not see a AAA game in this genre anymore.

Thanks for the video. I'd missed out on this game completely, and had no idea what it was like until watching this.

I was so impressed, I actually began to wonder what I was doing to have missed this game 10 years ago. (And I remembered: working, getting inebriated in the evenings, and spending huge amounts of time on playing Dark Cloud 2 & Disgaea.) I may have to locate this game and reclaim my loaned-out PS2 if you don't finish the game! Go, Zorine! : )

On another note -- 4:10 - 4:40 is hilarious. x)

In particular: "I would actually rather hang out with this chick than go back to that possessed, crazy bitch."

I haven't played the game, but can definitely relate to those words!

Finish the game...! I remember playing this game and had a whole heap of scary moments. Probably THE scariest game out there apart from the first Fatal Frame. That game gave me chills.

I played the first part on the PS2 and though I picked up the second one never got around to playing it. I see that this game is available on the Wii though, so may have to dip back into this one again. Great concept behind the game.
