You can fly high with Link and his loftwing, but the physical game will forever stay grounded in your Wii. So how do you get a Zelda-esque fix that you can take with you everywhere on your phone? Randolph Ramsay offers some suggestions in Plays Like!
O. M. G. Can someone please tell me what that video at the end is from? Or better yet, "Link" (hehe) me to a YouTube of it?
Is it just me or did Randolph Ramsay grow his moustache and maybe a beard. Anyway, I wonder is that's his house in the beginning.
@JohnnyWPSP : Yup..what would be scorched on an actual system is praised on ios...
No game is like Zelda, principally a phone game. And, this is clearly a bad copy, i mean look at the name "Zanda: LINKed Swords" LOL come on man !
So, instead of paying good money for a worthwhile ACTUAL Zelda game with a far superior and less awkward control scheme on 3DS. Pay 2 or 3 bucks for a short, crappy game that has the worst control scheme ever. How much are Gameloft and those other crappy iOS devs paying you guys?
I like Zenonia 3, it works with my xperia play's physical controls so you are not stuck with a touch screen if you do not want one. Sometimes you can only take your phone but you still want something to play. I have a portable system but cannot always carry it whereas my phone is always with me for obvious reasons.
really? still the crybabies about the score? it's ONE reviewer's score, who is entitled to it, you don't have to like it, like anything else on the internet, or even tv, you are free to ignore it and move on.
I'm pretty sure most game developers are immune to Gamespot/IGN review scores at this point. Always, and I mean ALWAYS, take them with a few grains of salt. I think Gamespot just TRIES to be different, which usually means lower, especially since they very, VERY rarely have the first review out...that or they're being bought off.
NO offence to this guy - but these games all look terrible... If skyward sword deserves a 7.5 from this site, the games offered in this vid must fall between a 2-3/10........
LMAO Zanda. anyways id rather play zelda on the 3DS, and from what nintendo said they are working on a new zelda 3ds game so yup, i wont need any of these...
LOL look at the difference between gamespots score for this game and the user and other review scores, fail gamespot...........
can anyone identify the name of the video in the last section (dancing link) looks rather interesting
So this show is basically just an advertisement for Gameloft and their games, am I right?
Lol at the beginning. They all have to support the 7.5 score even though they know it is undeserving of it. Dumb
across ages looks like the best bet. the first game they mentioned didn't seem to resemble zelda gameplay whatsoever. And the last one they showed didn't look very good in general. I dislike their contempt toward Nintendo's position on mobile gaming right now, because Nintendo has every logical reason not to develop for iOS and android...it would push cell phone gaming into more competitive territory with their own platform, 3DS, then mobile device gaming currently is. If you truly want a mobile zelda experience, get a true mobile gaming platform. Pick up a 3DS, or if you don't want to fork out the cash, pick up a DS lite for cheap, & invest in all the old GB/GBC/GBA/DS zelda games. There are tons of gems. I know the point of this 'show' is to give options for gamers that rly just have smartphones to play games, as in avoiding handheld systems, but isn't that sort of counter-productive of a video game website? I'd think they'd rather support handheld gaming as opposed to mobile device gaming. But i suppose if you can't beat em, join em is the attitude. Better to lead gamers in a semi-decent direction with mobile gaming then letting us sift through the garbage that is the majority of iOS & Android games.
The proof of the favoritism shown towards Apple/ios is in this video in itself...using (rather imo) immature stabs like ''sticking their fingers and going nananana'' ( now c'mon..is that really the maturity level someone in the media should sink to?) ...has Nintendo developed for 360? How about ps3? pc? psp? xbox? ps2? mac? This device is what they consider a ''gaming device'' ..so doesn't that mean it is expected that Nintendo doesn't develop for it? Oh yes...this it the i-phone..this means we praise the 10 good titles and ignore all of the other low-quality titles. This means we criticize other systems for bad physical controls and are fine with only on-screen controls.
The only realy Nintendo IP that would do well on a phone would be Pokémon tbh, due to the nature of the games pace. I guess some Mario could make it's way into it, but that should about be it
mmmm.... 1.Bash the Zelda Franchise and Nintendo itself.. 2. Suggest the game you just bashed on ios. While we are at the bashing as you say that Nintendo says ''Hey look at the shiny new 3ds!'' yes..yes I will, because it already has a better game lineup than ios.You go ahead and enjoy your obvious rip-offs and copies of games (which imo contradicts what gamers should support) ..I will be enjoying the original material and, yes, #notbashingit .
Why the hell would I want Zelda on a touch screen? Thats only limiting the game control wise. I'll stick to my 3DS thanks.
