We talk to executive producer Stephen van der Mescht about what's new in the reboot of the True Crime franchise.
It looks nice and smooth, but it's not unique at all. It reminds me of Stranglehold and the Max Payne series.
Okay... Way not to get me excited about this game. First open-world action game set in an Asian city? What about Yakuza 3? As for the rest, I'm sorry but while it sounds nice, it sounds just like 3 thousand other open-world action games to me. I fail to see anything original in all the "absolutely unique" features the guy described. Don't get me wrong, they obviously know the basics and might well get all of them right and make an awesome game... There's just isn't anything new and exciting highlighted in this video at all.
i love the first 2 true crimes they where fun to play i hope u can still arrest the bad-doers. ill keep track!
fighting animation looks cool but the gunplay... meh, hopefully they will have that fixed before release.
Since it's from a different developer and built from the ground up, this game would definitely be better than the predecessors.
First two episodes was a waste of money but they shoved how huge environments could be squeezed into Playstation2 system. Also previous games lacked addictive factors and after many repeating missions became boring. Hope they`ve learned the lesson this time. BTW I don`t like the moves of characters on this movie. They seem very stiff and unnatural like people were made of rubber.
well i gotta say that i didnt actually like the previous true crime games..but i think this looks promising.the hongkong setting & all the action looks pretty good
needless to say how much I disliked the first true-crime, then prolly liked the 2nd on ( NY episode), this one looks really promising. Plus, HONG KONG action looks really awesome.
All I can say is that it's about freaking time they made another True Crime game, I loved True Crime New York, can't wait for a new one.
I like the first game but thats it. I hope this game goes back to the roots of gameplay like True Crime la i believe it was.
I played Streets of LA and New York City too Shame no Wii version ah well NO HD console for me....YET. (Wii 2) or PC or onlive OR alternative. ;)
I really liked the first game, didn't care for the second. This one looks awesome! I hope it is even better then the first!
The last time I played True Crime: Streets of LA was like 4 years ago. Its a good thing that they're gonna make a new one for us to enjoy.
