SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs In-Game Multiplayer Trailer

If you liked this trailer, but the 3rd person thing seemed "a bit weird" then try out MAG - it's cheaper to get, has 1st person view and you can play with up to 256 players in. Try to find some gameplay trailers - you'll see that SOCOM 4 is just fooked up MAG with less players. For notice - I have left MAG for 3 times. When PSN will be back I'll make my 4th comeback because this is the only relatively fresh shooter that's not noob-friendly. If you're kind of dumb and slow at thinking though then don't waste your money on MAG - you'll just show what term "nerd rage" means and throw that game out the window.

The itch to play this online once PSN gets back is so big right now, I need Chuck Norris to scratch it. GOSH!

This is the best militar shooter since Battlefiel:BC2. The campain is very fun to play. It's so cooooooolllllll.

for all those ppl who love CoD , don't buy this , you will get frustaded and angry and pissed, because this is different. This is WAR and you can't handle it. Sorry for my grammar but like this game ; the skills are the most important, not the the looks

So I love tactical and squad based shooters. The single player of this game however is NOT tactical. Sending your squad mates to do the killing because you can be killed with 4 shots its ridiculous. Sucky SP, hope the MP is as awesome as it looks.

All these NEGATIVE comments are from COD players who went out & bought this game & are horrible at it. This game is better & more realistic than COD could ever be. Lmaoooo!! SMH! #Truth

Lol!! I love how ppl already compare this with a game thats not even released yet or even with games like BFBC2 or COD:Black Ops. For your info Battlefield 3, COD and BFBC2 are all FPS SOCOM 4 is a third person shooter. Its like comparing apple with eggs just saying. Besides most if not all the BF3 footage we seen so far are taken from the PC version, so you can,t compare that with how the actual console versions will look like. I def think SOCOM has potantial if they update the title and get ridd of a few bugs other then that this game sure looks good and it plays very nice! Okay i agree its not the old Socom we all knew and loved back then, but its still better then Socom Confrontation. I think ppl realy should stop comparing games like this with COD because sorry to say but COD isn,t everything realy.

The BF3 gameplay was the PC version. The console version will not look as good as SOCOM 4. This games visuals have been reviewed as superb. The AI has been stated as the best in gaming to date. Trust that I will be getting BF3 "as well" and will not down talk a game for another that isn't even released yet. This game is great and sharp shooter makes it even better. Anyway, was just checking feedback from others who may have bought it. Gotta get back to playing SOCOM 4 on my ridiculously large 3D TV!

socom 4 - 4 being how many people will be on the servers when it comes out. Everyone else is going to be playing BF3

Looks great...I buy it on day one. Would get it at midnight if it was a midnight release. Beta was fantastic. There are no other 3rd person shooters worth a dang out there....this is one of a kind.

Um... I'll buy this when it's 20.00 in about 3 months.

I think to answer why Sony releases most of its best games around that time is simple, at these times they have the best chance to hit a bigger crowd. When you watch carefull sometimes gamestudios or companies like Sony or Microsoft even push back the release dates when another blockbuster game is to be released on the same time period. It was the case when Modern Warfare 2 came out and same was with Black Ops. I agree with Gugler990 below that its annoying when u should play as a team (thats what teambased games are intent for in the first place) and everybody is running around in different directions not working as a team. I somehow can understand this tactic sure when the game in question involves on-line trophies or achievements, then most ppl ofcourse try to do that stuff to earn those. But it def takes away the fun alot to rather go in as a team and works as a tight unit rather then lone wolf tactics. Anyways i realy think this game will be awesome!!

Problem is not everyone will have a headset and the game will be crawling with got damn lone wolf noobs like in MAG. ill be replaying confrontation, after while i play killzone 3. I wonder why sony has most of its best games coming out from january-mid-june during late winter and spring.

Wish trailer had a little more actual in game "game play" footage. seems like a lot of cinematic views versus game play views. Arguable "hardcore"..but I'm not convinced. Still looking forward to it

I am REALLY hating what I'm seeing of these maps. They look way too MAG-esque and not very convincing as real war zones. Other than one or two of them, they all look a lot like outdoor paintball courses. That sounds like I'm majorly dissing the game, though I'm still really looking forward to it. I just hope it can come across as being convincing as far as immersion goes, and not just keep my playing because "it's so addictive!". The variety in the game sounds awesome, though :)
