The latest official trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2.
I wonder what special abilities metal sonic has that make him different (and awesomer) than sonic. Next time they do a 3d Sonic game (not the 3ds kind of 3d but where your running into the screen) they should either let you make awesome use of Silver's psychic powers or let shadow use guns (with better aiming, more weapon variety, and no swearing).
I checked the Achievements of this game. Super Sonic is playable again. Also same as Sonic Generations. The red star rings are for unlockable content.
hmmm... I love Sonic 1-3, CD. They are still great today. I even REALLY like Generations. I think Sonic 4 is garbage. It doesnt FEEL like sonic at all. It is like Sonic weighs 100kg and when you jump its like his head weighs more than his lower half. Whatever. I could not even get through ep 1, but can not put Generations down. long live sonic...? yeah not really sure. He is going in too many differnt directions. I really thought he had been going down hill in the last ten years. I really thought sonic 4 was the nail in the coffin, but it seems to have sold well for some reason, and then games like colors and geneartions come out which I think are the only decent entries since sonic CD.
Im glad they finally released a title that might do the sonic name justice, this looks pretty slick.
Looks like a big improvement over Episode 1. I am glad they added the free Metal Sonic episode. I am also glad I downloaded Episode 1 to my Xbox 360 instead of my Wii so I can get that Metal Sonic episode. I am looking forward to this game. It is best that Sega does not try to cling to the past so much. That's where part of Episode 1 fell short because there were too many familiar scenes. The homing attack is a great addition to Sonic 4. I like the new combo moves, too. The online co-op in this episode will be fun.
@Joy-Stick The homing attack was a great addition to the Sonic games, and it really speeds up the action. I understand people desperately want to cling to the past, but even the first three games in the series added new gameplay elements each time. Sonic 4 should be no exception.
Sonic just doesn't die easy. The least they could've done was to remove that homing attack; it has no place in this fare.
the character animations look improved, but the physics look EXACTLY the same as the last one. It doesn't look any closer to the genesis days like they claimed. Sonic Team should just change their name, because this is clearly not being done by the masterminds of the OG Sonic Team. These guys have no idea how to re-create the magic of the 16-bit era because it's none of the same people behind these projects.
@mechag2 Maybe Wii U. Xenoblade is out, the Wii is over. It's done. Nothing else is coming out for it. There are release dates at the end of the trailer and it mentions nothing about WiiWare. Sorry, but you're going to have to play it on something else.
This looks amazing. Stupid fanboys. They clamour for change and when it changes too much they cry still.
frickin Ken Balough, he said that episode II is soooo much better and its a totally new engine and they fixed it up so it feels just like the classic sonic, but you can see right in the video its the same garbage physics, carbon copies of old levels. i'll pass
@KevinJKoren And, some of us still have those games. i have 2 working Genesis consoles, and 35 games. All Sonics. Though, honestly, Sonic 4 has yet to impress me. Sonic 3 still has the most content, as far as stages, characters, and things goes. Sonic 2 was build over the 1st, and Sonic 3 was built over 2. They could have done something like that, except with updated graphics. But, for 4 stages, and bad physics, they can keep it. I'll go back to Sonic 1-3&k. Sonic CD on PSN was great, though.
Remember the days when you would play on Sonic the Headgehog 1,2 and 3......Ahhhhhhhhh good old days.
well it cinde fast too relist a nother game ... but i werry suppyed about this not long a go was the sonic generation sand now this game
Everything I've seen from this game looks awful. They've done almost nothing to correct the problems of Episode 1.
this looks great it has everything I expect a sonic game to look like but you know those fanboys, whats next? are they going to petition this game by buying sonic 2? lol that aside my only gripe is that it isn't on wii as well seeing as episode one ended with a to be continued.
at least now windows phone takes the last seat instead of android ...god how much do i hate that developers always keep android last :@
Playable. Metal. Sonic?!?!? This really looks great, too bad i can already hear the crybabies complaining how it's not that classic... Duh! PS: Will they add a decent coop?
