GameSpot Asia's Jonathan Toyad speaks to 2K's Chris Thomas and Yager's Shawn Frison about Spec Ops: The Line and what's going to make it stand out in the sea of modern combat shooters!
the 2K rep wants to get the conversation far far away from the crazy sh*t that Yager are doing with the themes in the game
I love games that tell amazing story's. With some action. Hopefully this game will fit my expectations
Kinda reminds me more of mass effect. Mass effect 2 though, and some gears of war as well. Hope its challenging as well.
I live in the UAE and the countries name is not Dubai ,idiots, and i have to say that its pretty unrealistic but the setting is completely accurate. BF3 all the way.
lmao yeah the next Ghost Recon isn't coming out on PC because Ubisoft said "Players will just pirate it". I remember playing specops on playstation and it being cheap but fun.
@THRRRPT Double post was an error...so it wasn't intentional. So relax and don't worry it is just a post.
"wer asked to leave the city But instead they decided to go against that order an rescue the people in the city" typical USA hero BS that is only in games. unfortunatelly in real life they like Waging wars with anybody they r not pleased with, or effects their Interests.
Looks like a spoof of SOCOM 4, which by the way was bad...FYI SOCOM was my favorite Multiplayer franchise till Zipper Interactive ruined the franchise by "trying to fix which wasn't broken." Now I'm on my Xbox 360 while my PS3 is only used for my Blurays and dusts up. Spec Ops looks too much like a budget SOCOM, but maybe it'll surprise, "can't say till ya play."
@TRISTAM Right, because obviously multiplayer is the end-all-be-all of any game...Especially one where all the info has been on the narrative and SP? And was that really worth two posts? Seriously...
It has an interesting concept, but I played the beta last year and it was ok. You cannot customize really anything in regards to weapons and outfits and you cannot goto "scope view" yet your weapons have scopes on them..very strange. Ghost Recon will trump this game very easily....Go Ghosts!
what's the name of the song in this video because I've listened it in the Terminator salvation movie the part when they repaired the car? though the game looks nice(sorry for bad en.)
Wha't the name of the song played in the beginning? Sounds familiar but can't remember the name... Thx
QFT. The story sounds highly original and there will always be a market for quality third person tactical shooters. get over it
In all honesty, I want nothing to do with shooters anymore. I wish developers would shift at least SOME focus into the once thriving RPG genre. I miss games with truly compelling and brilliant story telling, instead of "These stereotypical Russian/Middle Eastern dudes don't like Uncle Sam so you have to shoot them and then somehow feel emotionally attached when the shallow and unexplored characters in your squad start getting killed off. Sigh. I'll admit this looks mildly more entertaining than most shooters.. mildly.
Looks interesting but can they beat Uncharted 3 sand levels ? Iv'e been following it for two years now and the gameplay videos look promising.
@blade2980 if you want to be understood in a page like this you will have to speak in English! hermano! xD
