3 Like This is PvE for sure. No player with even a tiny bit of common sense would bring a Viking down to fight an ultra while letting the banshee simply hover pass the monstrosity.
So typical of our time. Great effects and visuals, great coreograhpy of the scene. BUT, some childish cliche "OMGZZZ I AM THE ULTIMATE EVIL!!!" I swear, how many times have I seen this? Have we become totally creatively inept (I mean, outside of those in the 7-10 yr old age range)
1 Like @damien310 You realize that this is branching from a story that started in 1998 right? This is cliche because great Blizzard games like this, Diablo (1996), and Warcraft: Orcs and Humans (1994), were at the front of gaming and started a lot of this stuff themselves. Was Lucas cliche for making Luke's father the villain? No, because he was one of the first to do it however, now it is viewed as cliche.

1 Like I really hate strategy games but have always loved the art style and cinematics of this series. Have always wanted to play a game based on this series ala FPS as one of the ground troops.

I'm just hoping they don't poop all over the story. Again. They did it with SC2. They did it all over Warcraft III and wow.
@Darnasian @AncientDozer completely agreed, i dont even recognize world of warcraft anymore it feels nothing like how warcraft was originally, the franchise is dead to me as far as im concerned.
1 Like I realized that these CGI are costly to make and time consuming, but please include them in the games! It's very exciting to break away from the isometric view once a whilst and see some of the actions!

Hyperion was in one piece when Kerrigan was "rescued". This is just a random battlecruiser as she dreams of past events. She is most likely onboard Hyperion when she wakes from her dream.
2 Like @Snaptrap you do realize that blizzard was hired by gamesworkshop to make a warhammer and warhammer 40k games right? the contract was terminated partway in the production of both warcraft 1 then the 2nd contract with starcraft 1, so blizzard decided to complete the games but make them different enough from gamesworkshop's work so as to not get sued in return. so yes, they rip off stuff because they already had the stuff made, lol.

That's alleged and even if that's the case, they kept all of the source material and didn't change anything.
Then there are the Colossal which remind me SO MUCH of the Command and Conquer units. The vikings are basically a rip off of C&C3's Japanese unit.
Just to name several other examples.
And then they fill their game with SO MANY references which, by itself isn't bad. In fact, it's pretty cool, but at teh same time it's like they're banking so heavily on the fact that there are references to Indiana jones or lolcats.
@feleas I'm not talking about Gamesworkshop. Starcraft II in itself reminds me of Star Trek First Contact.

2 Like The only stupid part about that trailer is the viking transforming in front of the ultralisk! My only guess is his buddy was in the tank that got crushed and he was angry.
@HookedonPhonicx my thoughts was he was so desperate and they were doing what it took to protect there home planet, even if that meant fighting a suicide style of combat.
