If they really want to do a movie out of a game ... I think they should do a CG movie like Resident Evil : Degeneration or Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children. Because ... Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Doom, Mortal Kombat, Super Mario Bros, Dead Or Alive, Tomb Raider and Tekken ... please .. please ... stop slaughtering good game storie with the help of Oh-so-bad actors ...

I disagree...I think this movie was supposed to be a comedy directed to children!! Therefore it's awsome!! Or at least it's better than "The Son of the Mask". HAHAHAHHA
I'll watch it for the lulz. Seriously though, that movie looked insulting on so many levels. That's why I'm always wary of big production game-based movies. Better to have ones like Resident Evil: Degeneration, which you know is just an untold story in the series that should be watched if you're a fan, than Resident Evil: Extinction. ...I really hope they reconsider a Devil May Cry movie if the rumors are true. I shudder to think what failure that movie could potentially be. :(

@wizzard4all He's a reviewer for a successful video gaming website. Can you get that? Who are YOU? What do you do and what gives you the right to question a "professional?" And YES, the MOVIE SUCKED. If you have access to a million dollar movie and you get to write it, you should come up with better writing. ESPECIALLY a game of this magnitude. DUH. You'd get fired or give a GOOD GAME a BAD reputation. I don't think I can make enough words bold for a person of your caliber. hehe.. You're lost. You get defensive about garbage? Well if you want my opinion on this movie, his review is spot on. I do think the director/writer hasn't got a lot of time to write a script and the directing goes haywire. Raul Julia playing M Bison has to be an antogonist to all the characters around him with campy dialogue is another factor. Also casting the characters that can't fight is the reason why fight scenes don't look good compare to Hong Kong. Also compare to the Legend of Chun Li, the other movie works well because the action sequence works more Hong Kong style with the CG and special effects and the script is better that makes you care for all characters rather than having a one dimensional or two dimensional characters who's only interested in revenge.

It was a terrible movie, but it is totally hilarious! Its worth watching so you can laugh at how bad it is. It almost crosses the line of, its so bad its good.
The first time I saw this movie I was 6 or 7 years old and I remember that it sucked. I saw it again a couple of months ago (now I'm 22) and it still sucked.
Jean Claude was a great choice for a Street Fighter movie, the dude was my hero back in the day. It's too bad the movie sucked.

Oh man, that was painful to watch:( I never actually saw the entire movie before(just bits and pieces), now I am glad I did not. This seems even worse than that terrible Tekken movie and that is truly saying something:?
I really liked this movie when I saw it in the theater because it was so silly. I also liked it because it had Kylie Minogue as Cammy. (She is hot.)

This whole movie was just a big fat joke. Sure might be relative for family viewing pleasures, but taking a more broad approach at the movie would have been more suitable. At least Mortal Kombat wasn't as bad as this was, film directors or writers, heck the whole crew should just play the game... Probably on the hardest difficulty to embrace it in its entirety.
I thought it was funny with Bob Hoskin's role as Mario, being credited as "the worst thing I've ever did."
Last time I saw this movie I was in middle school and even then I was disappointed. The only upside is the movie is SO BAD that now I can get some friends and rip on it while getting hammered.

This movie was good to me. I was 10 when this came out and I liked it. Sure the story was completely screwed, but who cares. everyone that watched the movie in the 90's was new to street fighter and i'm shire they didn't give a crap about the story at the time. It would matter now thou because everyone knows the story now.
The biggest mystery of this movie to me was why was there a game called STREET FIGHTER : THE MOVIE VIDEOGAME when the movie was already based on a long running video game franchise ?

To be honest the live action movie of Street Fighter in the 80's wasn't that terrible I mean the newer Street Fighter movie was really terrible and it sucked so bad. Sorry to say this dude whoever made this video but, I think you should be talking about the newer Street Fighter movie not the old Street Fighter movie. FYI: It's just my opinion.
