Tekken Tag Tournament is making a return in 2011. Here is the first teaser trailer for the game from TGS 2010.
Here comes the best fighting game ever. My bro and i can't wait to kick some ass online. More than 40 character to select and more combo to learn. Hell yeah....
does this tie into the tekken 6 story at all? :o cuz i remember the first one didnt have a dam thing to do with the 3rd one or follow up to the 4th lol
@dark-warmachine just one example of how wrong you are: every person in the series has their own personal reversal or perry that can only be executed with "Timing and Precision". and the only moves that "chain up" are the combos given to you by the "move list". Only Rookies use those combos, real Tekken players make their own!.
@starvinPerez Wrong! I meant what I said, and every game require some sort of PRECISION and TIMING, you just need more PRECISION and TIMING in SF4 with it's ONE FRAME LINKS unlike other games in which moves are chained automatically into combos which only requires memory. Cough TEKKEN cough. And you say this game require precision and timing like no other fighting game? Lol
We've got MvC3, Splatterhouse, and this coming out? It seems like their bringing out the games people have been waiting for forever. Not to mention Duke Nukem Forever is finally coming out aswell.
@ dark-warmachine Wrong! i meant what i said. and every game requires some sort of memorization, you just need more memorizing in tekken cuz you need 2 kno more then 4 moves.
@starvinPerez what I think you meant to say was that (S)SF4 requires precision and timing like no other fighting game, with it's one frame links. This game, on the other hand, requires memorization.
I can't wait til the port this to the PS3! I have been waiting forever for the 2nd Tag Tournament to come out so that I can play WITH my boyfriend...instead of kicking his arse...lol :)
@ KoldKeyz i think that means your just another button smasher with no skill. this game requires precision and timing, like no other fighting game .
You must be trollin. Tekken Tag wipes the floor with MVC. About time they announced a sequel to one of the most (if not the most) acclaimed Tekken games ever.
ALL OF YOU NEED TO CHILLLL....THIS WONT BE COMING TO CONSOLES.(NOT YET). IT WILL ONLY BE RELEASED FOR ARCADES & ONLY IN JAPAN !!! So it will be a long wait till it is released on home consoles just as the same with Tekken 6. About a year after it was released in arcades.
yeah i see some game play in this trailer that they need to improve every tekken they have the same moves turn down but the story might be good
Not a huge fan of Tekken but I've always kinda wanted to play Tag Tournament and I might get a chance to do that with this. Looks promising at this point
@Jaden_Arbiter I'll agree that I wan't SC5, but this isn't the time nor place to demand it... Also, Tekken Tag Tournament was one of the best fight games ever, having another is a good thing.
Tekken isn't made for realism so demanding that something gets more realistic is silly. Lets us not forget Orge, Mokujin, Yoshimitsu, Roger, and Alex... I'm not bad mouthing Tekken I love the series and the lack of complete realism is what makes it fun. If you wan't real then play virtual fighter...
Love Tekken and their huge line up of unique characters and love dressing em up also. Not afraid to say that Tekken is my favorate fighting franchise. Go Tekken!
I like the fact that the person being tagged out could do one more attack before they left the screen. I don't even like Tekken, and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
i dont no, i kind of got bored of tekken now. im a fan of all 3 legend beat-em-ups, Street fighter, mortal kombat and tekken. but tekken is the one that im getting bored of. nothing has really changed, street fighter 4 made a madness change, and so has Mortal Kombat. but tekken just feels the same over and over now.
I hope ALL characters from Tekken to be included, Devil + Devil Jin, Michelle + Julia, Ogre + True Ogre, Jinpachi + Heihachi, Jun + Asuka, Marshall + Forrest... and so on.
it's about time! everyone i know says tekken tag tournament was their favorite tekken game. can't wait.
