The concept is intriguing but I am skeptical. I have played EQ, EQ2, WoW, Aion, SWTOR, AoC, DCUO, and a few others not really worth mentioning and I am worried that this one will be a typical korean grinding MMO which is definitely not my style of game. How smooth is the leveling progression? Are their periods where you feel forced to grind XP?

I have considered buying for the 30 days but i'm trying to see if it would be worth it for me. Especially with D3 coming out in less than 2 weeks.

No not at all. I have been playing for just a few hours a day for 3 days and i am lvl 19. I have had to ditch some quests because i either out leveled them or ran out of room for them. I came to this game from WOW and have played aion and dcuo and i have to say that this game is more fun because of the combat system. You dont just stand there and fire off spells or whatever. You actually have to move around and dodge and your spells dont have cast times either. It is a lot of fun and I am glad that I got it. Now I dont know if it will stay as fun as it is the longer i play, will have to wait and see for that.

There should be no periods of the game where you are forced to grind monsters. They changed the grinding when prepping the game for NA release.

No, En Masse westernized the game so that you never have to grind. You gain more EXP from quests, than you do from just grinding on monsters so when you need to level up, just rack up on quests and go out and start killing. The level curve isn't too bad either so you won't have to do too many quests before you level up.

only till around lvl 40ish is when it gets harder to lvl. It takes me alot like 20 or so quest to level, excluding BAM quest and dungeons.

Primera: I don't get it. Why aren't they hitting you
Fei: That's simple. If I let them hit me, it might hurt.

Leveling in this game is easy. You'll never run out of quests.

You don't need to worry about camping to grind out mobs. However by 35-40 you will slow start to feel the slow in leveling but that can all be filled up with the quest given which easily lead you through all the areas.

i tried it on my brother account and if you want something with a little more story it's not the game for you, so far all i've done is get a quest kill monster, get a quest kill monster and that's it so far.
