Where does this place on your favorite Spider-Man games of all time?

I beat the game twice in a single week. I was so incredibly hyped for it before it came out but I left the game feeling really disappointed. For starters, I felt like the amount of screen tearing and pop-in were just unacceptable, and the combat felt really stale and not as polished as B:AC, although they had more time to expand and understand what works in Spider-Man's universe, I also felt like only a few missions stood out to me, and those where the ones with the outdoor bosses. The indoor missions were a bit boring and the stealth got incredibly stale. That being said, I really wanted to like it but with every element of the game, there was something off. The only redeeming factor was the web rush ability, which probably made the game much better. I know Spider-Man 2 was probably worse, but I felt as though the web swinging was tighter and the less amount of pop-in was not distracting, while ASM had so much pop-in it bothered me. Also, they portrayed Spider-Man as a wimp! Retreat? Spider-Man can dodge bullets! WHY RETREAT?

So, where does this rank in your favorite Spidey games, and do you disagree with the points above?

    1) Ultimate Spider-Man

    2) Spider-Man (N64)

    3) Spider-Man 2

    4) Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

    5) The Amazing Spider-Man

You'd have to be a huge idiot to place any other spiderman game above this one.

This is the arkham city of spiderman games. Web of shadows was atrocious.

The Spider Man films were able to go with simple numbers because they weren't trying to erase the memories of Batman with nipples and neon wielding gangbangers.

I liked Web of Shadows better than this one.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm playing: God of War:Ascension, Ni No Kuni:Wrath of the White Witch, and Pokemon: White 2

Waiting to get: Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Sly Cooper, Grand Theft Auto V, Tales of Xillia, and Xenoblade Chronicles

I liked Web of Shadows better than this one.
