Get your heart-eating fix with this video review for The Darkness.
The Darkness 2 demo was impressive. Love being truely evil! Can't wait to get my demon tentacles on it.
haha @ DamageincM l33t name \m/ i agree with you and wanted to add i dident notice him go into any details about what he dident like about the game then again i dident pay that much attention lol eating hearts FTW!
Hm, the quality-standards of the reviews were quite different a couple of years ago... Just saying "that's awesome..." isn't very professional. :P And most of all, not very informative... "dude..." XD
I bought this game just over a week ago for AU$4 brand spankin' new and sealed. I hadn't ever heard of it before, and while watching this review, I was thinking it looked alright, but I wasn't getting any major urges to play... That was, until near the end when Jeff pointed out the main character is voiced by Mike Patton from Faith No More! This game has just been elevated to the top of my playlist.
Finished this the other day. Really amazing. Jackie's one of the best main characters I've seen in a game.
@unDeny Following his departure from Gamespot, Jeff went on to start a site called Giant Bomb, which I think I mentioned. He still does reviews and podcasts. Since it's Jeff, you know you're not getting any crap, either. Here's a link if you're interested :D http://www.giantbomb.com/
@MGS_fan_2015 Yea.. The overall smooth flowing commentary's some what of a commodity these days, ol Jeff brought it on naturally. Where th heck's he at these days btw??
I love this one too but god it's hard. Certain parts took me like 50 tries over to beat because I was just getting swarmed by enemies. Since conventional weapons suck so much it's hard to really survive unless you get lucky. For being so powerful, on normal difficulty you'd think you wouldn't be so easy to kill
Glad I got this game. It was only $10. I even got it free when gamestop was having a special promo. I read the first few comics. Comics are free on my iPad using comixology app. Very cool tie in.
an underrated gem of this generation, any gamer worth their salt should play this game. This game is proof that FPS can have an engrossing and compelling story
Although one of the first games of this generation it puts some of the newly released games to shame
I played this when it first came out. Multiplayer was meh. But for anyone that wants a shooter with a great story mode, well this one fits the bill. The funny thing is the graphics still look great even today. 07 sure was a good year to be a gamer.
I remember playing this when it first came out and i loved it then. Im thinking of going and picking it back up since i really liked it.
the second i found out that this game was being made by the guys who made the chronicles of riddick game (also an awesome game) i wanted it
he was a great editor, but he left gamespot long time ago. he was the one who reviewed gta:san andreas.
