The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gets its second piece of downloadable content today, Hearthfire. It's available now on the Xbox 360 for 400 microsoft points.
i know what the fudge is with bethesda being sistemcist, i mean the dam ps3 is suppost to be stronger than scandless 360( no offense i hate idea of paying, im ps3 user)
@Tacojoint The guys at Bathesda are smart.......they picked the winning console
@MohammedMusfa fu#k u ps3 is stronger than ps3, only thing is that microsoft are like the mobsters of technology, their in it for the money.... plus you get the red light so stfu
Only way Bethesda can redeem themself for the PS3 Skyrim players is if they give them Dawnguard for free. And no, I'm a PC player :)
@suplax To bad for you dumb asses who have to pay for this crap, while PC users get better stuff for Free. Now that funny.
This ''The game has issues on the PS3, we don't know if we can port DLCs'' crap is absolutely killing me. We all know that Bethesda's guys aren't stupid, and that they know very well how to port games in the PS3 and other platforms. But the $$$ that they got from Microsoft is making them abandon their PS3 fan base. Ungrateful bastards. -__- And filthy Microsoft. -__- Trying to tackle Sony out of the business with these disgusting ways....
@REDShadowG It's a business. That's how businesses work, nothing filthy nor disgusting about it. As an owner of a 360 and PS3, I'm sad for the other PS3 owners when it comes to expansions and the like, but when I consider the greater quantity of exclusive games for the PS3 that are not available for the Xbox (like Demon's Souls, Heavy, In-famous), I feel slightly less sympathy.
@theloneronin827 @REDShadowG Except none of those game developers told you there would be a 360 version of the game, than tell you, oh sorry we cant do it now after it was released for the other platform. Your right its a business and there is this thing called business ethics too isnt there? Well bethesda shit all over that, so now i wont be buying any of their games. Im sure many ps3 owners feel the same.
@jmc88888 @Leeric420 @theloneronin827 @REDShadowG I'm not going to make claims and insult your intelligence because you seem to be a well informed and intelligent human being however you are confusing lack of ethics with poor leadership and management. You say "lack of ethics in a poorly run business will take out the entire worlds economy." And yes poorly run businesses are what cause economic crashes but not due to a lack of ethics. If an underprivileged man were to ask a bank for a loan that the bank knew he could never pay back but was necessary for his well being and they gave it to him they would be losing money a.k.a a bad business model. It would however be the ethical thing to do. They can't give money to people just because they need it. Health care providers and insurance companies can't give everyone health care just because they "need" it. Etthical? No. A good business model? Yes. I think the way our health care system is structured is poor and not beneficial for everyone, but we live in a country run by capitalism. You want ethics and fairness for all? That would be nice, but it just doesn't work. Communism however is even worse. Every country that has ever even attempted to employ capitalism has failed. Look at north korea for example. 90% of the population is starving. Unethical businesses are very successful it's the people who barrow money that they can't pay back who are to blame.
@jmc88888 @Leeric420 @theloneronin827 @REDShadowG Another much, much larger one? The market is on the rise. The only problem currently being predicting is the chinese economy may take a dive like the US did in 08 which if it did happen would be catastrophic however it's unlikely that their economy will drop as much as ours did. However lack of ethics had nothing to do with it. Over expansion, building houses and borrowing money people knew they could never pay back is what destroyed the economy not lack of ethics.
Only unsuccessful people need to ditch ethics to make it. Only idiots cut corners.
Successful people can overcome obstacles, and don't even need to do everything perfect, because how they approach something is so superior, it needs not be perfect.
Wow someone has been taught wrong. You want to see what ethics brings you. See Enron, Tyco, Bernie Madoff, and many others.
Just watch what eventually happens to all the big banks, BofA, Wells, Chase, etc. They're toast. Mostly because they felt being successful was more important than doing it ethically. Remember when they go down, either America forks over 5-8 trillion dollars (not for them) but to you for your deposits, or you're broke.
Funny thing is, people wonder why we bail out the banks, it's because of that.
Too bad our deposits are held hostage for unethical casino gambling in fraudulent derivatives. Isn't there a law against that? Oh there was, but some idiots thought that fraud was more successful than the real physical economy, so they successfully repealed Glass-Steagall, and successfully bankrupted America, and every western (and almost all non-western) nations in the world.
The lack of ethics in poorly run businesses will take out the entire world's economy. So there you're right, it is successful. Successful at destroying the world economy.
Get a grip buddy, before you become a part of the problem that will lead you to your own doom.
@Leeric420 That is why I believe that it's my responsibility as a gamer to perform market research and read reviews before I purchase a game. Business is a complicated process and this is why I own both a PS3 and a 360, so that I can have more options when purchasing games, rather than crying or raging in a corner.
Microsoft and Sony are both businesses, and both will act in their own interests.
Sounds like fun. I will download soon. Hopefully I make a house like some of the ones I saw on the MODs for the PC.
Are people still playing this game? Don't get me wrong, I loved it when it came out, but I played the hell out of it and need something more than a Sims mod. Looking forward to the next Fallout.
@Blue_Tomato I agree. I finished playing around 125hours. Dawnguard brought me up to 139. But I see your point this is just a little snack before we get our next expansion like Dawnguard but hopefully even better. I also am looking forward to the next fallout as I think that fallout game on the new creation engine would be great!
I really like this DLC. The fact of the matter is not everyone has an amazing PC that can run Skyrim so I think this is worth the 5 bucks. I just hope Bethesda knows that they can't scrap this now. Every Elder Scrolls from now on needs something like this.
A few scentences worth of info and they put it in a video?
GS, seriously? A thirty second commercial followed by a video that literally says nothing more than the headline? Thanks for this, keep raising the bar!
The elder scrolls 5: skysims
thats why I bought skyrim guys, I wanted to be a homeowner with a family, white picket fence and a dog and all that sh1t.
for once I actually don't care that I have the ps3 version.
I'm waiting on AC3 and Far Cry 3, and the new Hitman game, I'm pretty done with skyrim.
Great, a Mod for the consoles that you pay $5.00 for (oh wait 400 Microsoft points.
We know you PC players are green with envy right about now.
@inkyspot But the thing is, you cannot easily mod consoles, and there are very few mods for them, so if you don't have a PC that can run Skyrim, it is worth the five bucks.
@inkyspot No we are not. You see, we have mods.
I get the fact that sometimes it is harder to make game's for multi platform hence why you get 360 only or ps3 only games. But what i dont get is if thats there excuse for no dlc of skyrim on ps3 then why have the game on ps3 in the first place????
wake me up when the GOTY edition come sout with ALL DLC in one pack, im waiting for the full version to buy this game. I have tons of games to enjoy in the meantime.
