Another thing about bears; you're technically supposed to sneak past them (since they're sleeping when you encounter them) if you don't feel up to fighting them.

The section on "Companions" doesn't deal with the Companion's Guild at all. Instead it talks about Followers. Why?

Because that was the term I use for them and tried to differentiate by specifying "NPC" (though obviously failing), but you're right. I should have used something else to prevent confusion. I'll fix that in the next revision.

How did this even get sticky? It's completely self explanatory. This topic is pointless.

If it truly was as self-explanatory as you said, then people wouldn't have made so many topics asking these questions.

Thanks for the tip. I'll add it to the next update.

Thanks for the guide! These are almost all questions I've looked up while playing the game, so it's nice to see it all in one guide.

Regarding 5) Is there a way to quick-travel to cities I've not visited yet?

Some new people might not know you can not use the carriage if you are to overloaded.

    2) What is the maximum level you can reach in this game? (MXLVL)
I've not hit the cap myself, but most topics I've seen that talk about this question mention 80 as the hard cap for the game. However, it takes a considerably longer amount of time to level up after level 50 than it does before level 50.

Level 81 is the maximum level.

    >>>The companions are very hard to kill, as when their hp hits near 0 they normally fall on their knees and enemies shift their attention to you instead. However they still can be killed either by YOUR attacks (either directly or by area of effect spells/shouts) or if they're simply hit hard enough by an attack.

Not possible for that last part to happen. They only ever die if you hit them, or an enemy hits them while trying to hit you, after they have taken a knee (ie. AoE affect used by the enemy),

"Follower" seems to be the best term for, well, the NPCs that follow you.

    Also, grats on the sticky!

I've actually seen the last part happen a few times against a Forsworn mage who had an obscenely powerful ice spell (she was in the little village they have in front of the Sky Haven Temple). My follower was hit so hard that he simply died. Yes, I know that followers and NPCs can LOOK dead but are still alive if damage is high enough, but I confirmed the kill by going up to him and tryng to interact with him.

Very helpful guide, though I think you need to add something about the usefulness (or lack there-of) of cooking.

Ok, so here's a list of new topics and fixes for the next update so far:

    Topics:
    - Buying and improving houses
    - Marrying
    - Cooking (Only if someone helps me with that, or won't happen until the update-after-next when my exams are done and I can test it out thoroughly)

    Fixes:
    - 50 hp gain per feeding for werewolves (Codemann92587, and he'll get credit for the 2.5 min time limit correction as well)
    - Sneak by bears as an effective way to handle bears at low level (Bisected8)
    - Max level is 81 (Rajhin)
    - If you are overburdened, you can not use the horse carriage (CoarseDragon)
    - Change "NPC Companions" to "Followers" to prevent confusion with the Companion Guild (Warrior_Hix)

Am I missing anything? I won't be updating the FAQ for at least another week or two so I can get more questions covered, so please feel free to add suggestions.

Looks fine for a basic rundown of things. Don't want to get too specific about game elements really.

Well true, but I'm trying to answer as many of the frequently asked questions as possible.... well, the ones that aren't heavily opinion-based at least.
