The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks User Review
Despite blocky graphics and sometimes frustrating puzzles, Spirit Tracks is a game for any Nintendo fan.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Just plain fun"
NOTE: This is my first Zelda game, so i will not be making comparisons to other games of the series, like many reviews frequently do.
After having my fill of Mario, Kirby, and Sonic, I set out with forty bucks to Gamestop, hoping to find a satisfying new video game, and I made a bullseye.
The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks is an awesome DS game. Here's the story:
Link has been training to be an engineer, and when the game starts, you go to Hyrule Castle for Zelda to perform a special ceremony. One of the castle workers, Chanceller Cole points out it is useless, for the Spirit Tracks, which the trains drive on, are disapearing. After the ceremony, Zelda makes you smuggle her out of the castle to the Tower of Spirits. When you arrive, the tower is in several peices, all except the bottom floating below a portal. Cole and one of his assistants come down from the sky in a train and separate Zelda's spirit from her body, taking her body with them. It is later revealed that Cole plans to resurect Malladus, the demon king's spirit into Zelda's body, using hers because the body must be of royalty. So Link, accompanied by Zelda's spirit, have to set out to restore the Spirit Tracks, stop Cole , yada yada yada.
Gameplay- Spirit Tracks has a very fun and charming gameplay that will keep you playing for hours. It combines fighting and puzzles to create an addictive little charmer.
Graphics- The graphics could have been better. They are good, but sometimes they appear blocky and unfinished, but they could obviusly couldn't be as good as a Wii's graphics, (DS is smaller, less space to do stuff, midget cartridge,
Sound- Spirit Tracks offers a excellent set of tunes. Some of them may get a bit old after time, but many are new and refreshing, especially for things like bossfights and Lokomo's songs.
Lasting Appeal - Unlike most DS games (relatively short, 6 hour or less main game time) Spirit Tracks takes a long time to finish. (In a good way.) Here would be my problem. I'd get a really high;y acclaimed DS game that would be really good, but it would be just so short ( well maybe long for others, but i'm the kind of person who stays up till one in the morning playing), that I'd finish it in a week or so. But Spirit Tracks, NO definitely NOT like that.
overall, The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks is a game i'd recomend to pretty much anybody, especially Nintendo fans looking for a new DS game.

This is NOT a Legend of Zelda game. It takes recycled material and makes it bad, with no originality and O.K. game play.
