i didnt like where they went with the story in SS its like they took a page from avatar with the stupid birds. I want more sidequest more dungeons a bigger world with more to do and bring back epona
@juboner The pigeon thing was awful... boring and slow... you couldn´t use any weapon when riding it, just that stupid bird-attack! That didn´t happen with Epona... using your sword and your bow was better.
Well, I hate to say it, but I'm out. this game makes use of every feature is all I had to hear. I was hoping for an option to use the regular controller, or at least keep the tablet's function down to menu navigation. Use the mechanics that best suit the game, not all of them just to convince everyone else they weren't a waste of time. I've played every Zelda game (barring the infamous CD-I games), but this is the end of the line for me. I found SS iffy at best, and this is where I'm drawing the line. I'm done with Zelda (a little part of me just died inside).

2 Like Same visual style as Skyward Sword?? Oh, please, that was an error! they should have kept on the line of Twilight Princess... if that was quite ``real´´, imagine what they could do with the new technology!!! It would be awesome!!!
And, apart from that... I hope they explin more about the Zelda´s universe, I mean, about the creation of the Kingdom of Hyrule, the origins of Ganondorf, the origins of the Sages, the origins of the Kokiri, Deku, Goron, etc, etc, than in Skyward Sword, where they just explained the oirigin of the reencarnation of Ganondorf, the origin of the Master Sword, not even of the Goddess´s Sword, and a few more things...

However I agree with the fact that they should lean towards the TP art style if they really wanna showcase the WiiU's graphical capabilities... Either way though, I'm not bothered.
@skayj2 @HeroOfTime1994 I agree that they should continue working on that kind of graphics, but they should focus on the realistic graphics, so people would play it just like it was real. Anyway, I think a game with the colours of Skyward Sword and the realistic graphics of Twilight Princess would be amazing, but definetly the forms, the world, the characters, etc shouldn´t be like cartoons. They should be as realistic as posible, and then, the colour thing is a ``complement´´. Good graphics+normal colours=good game. Good colour+normal graphics= so so.
2 Like @HeroOfTime1994 Best thing HDTVs do is color. They would have been idiots to have gone with the more muted TP over the bright SS look.
2 Like @montblanc512 @HeroOfTime1994 I agree that color is important and that in Skyward Sword that was one of the greatest things, but, look at the bokoblins, they are like puppets, not like in Twilight Princess that they looked like monsters, just the same as the bosses of the game excepting a few. The bosses in Skyward Sword weren´t ``scary´´ because of that, and in general they weren´t half of what the Twilight Princess´s bosses were. In my opinion they should give more importance to realistic graphics than to color. Anyway, I think it´s possible to have realisic graphics and great color too.
@spklvr @HeroOfTime1994 @montblanc512 I think that if they want to use that kind of style (Skwward Sword´s I mean), they should use it in a kind o design like in the Wind Waker. Those ``cartoons´´ with that colour would be awesome, but if you want to use ``real´´ forms... dont use so bright and happy and wonderful colours... just do it so realistic that people would live each battle as it was real, which is, in my opinion the best thing of a great game: if you live the game and when you play, you only care about it and you forget about the rest of the world even if your mother is asking you something just in your ear (personal experience jaja), that´s a good game. If you can stop without feeling bad for stop playing... it means it´s not a good game (for you, of course), and the way to do this? making pepple to BE the game, FEELING the game, LIVING it. And of course, apart from a super-evil-boss and a super-interesting-story, graphics are important, and in my opinion, people ``belive´´ more the story of a computer game when it´s realistic (talking in terms of graphics).
@HeroOfTime1994 @montblanc512 Have to agree. I prefer the darker Zelda games, and TP was ten times better than SS because of it. TP was creepy and exciting, whereas SS was like running around in a childish candyland, where everything was dull. And the fact that OOT on the 3DS looked so much better than SS is just sad. They need realistic and improved graphics! And the characters need to talk less. That nearly killed me in SS... nobody would shut up ever.

I'm hyped! I wonder, would the game benefit from the motion controls of skyward sword? Or would it be better to switch back to the classic mode of combat? Part of me was hoping that they would make a classic 2-D Zelda this time...
...Oh well, I'm still hyped!
Damnit..........It says it will be in the style of Skyward Sword. The Zelda tech demo is what we want not some watercolor crap. God. Nintendo makes me scratch my head sometimes.
i hope they dont use motion controller, i lovezelda series but i hated using the controller for the latest zelda game. i prefer old fashion controller

Nintendo will definitely use the new controller. They try to avoid doing the same thing twice. They HAVE to show off the new controller.
Is Link finally going to get some Zelda booty in 2014? Maybe they'll finally lose their V cards with one another. OooOOooOOooOooooo!!!
1 Like Hopefully there will be a price drop for the Wii U. Can't really afford it right now but I am saving up. Hopefully by then there will be a Zelda game.
4 Like umm... 2014?? :( guess i won't be in a huge rush to get a wii-U. so far i haven't seen any exclusives or games that i can't live w/out around launch time. i want them to make it epic tho instead of rush it so ill try to be patient. it just better be ocarina of time on steroids x 1000 with lots of sexy elf chicks
2 Like Very interesting. I hope it has a darker storyline and the controls won't wig out like most touch screen games.
@g1rldraco7 it uses a touch screen similar to the DS touch screen your thinking of the iPhone and Android devices which uses a different type of touch screen. what happens with those is the oils in your hads build up on the screen over time creating undesirable results, it also get really hot and that will also cause a similar problem.
