The Monkey King: The Legend Begins User Review
- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 10 Hours or Less
- The Bottom Line:
- "Too short"
The actual gameplay isnt bad, but you can do everything there is to do in a couple hours. no joke. the game has six easy levels, where the bosses are easier than the enemies on normal difficulty. each level is about 5 minutes long, and after you get to six you go back to 5 than 4 all the way back repeating levels you already did. then you get a gameover and it doesnt even save your score. there are nice powerups and it has good potential to be a great shooting game, but its too short and easy.
the graphics are nothing special, although the style is kind of cool.
there is an interesting motion-based mechanism which speeds up the level when you tilt your remote to the right, and slows down when you tilt to the left. this is pretty cool, and is another interesting gameplay mechanic in the game that is doomed because of the surprising lack of content.
they had a good shooting game set up, but only made 6 small levels.
this would have gotten around 7.5 if thre were 30 or so levels.. but unfortunatly there isnt.
