i played the game ( yes i did download the beta) and its kinda nothing like this. you dont look this close at their faces in game. all you do is try to get a good job or a family. but you dont have those energy drinks like in sims 2 where you never would get old so you die pretty fast. and their faces are all like chubby and its so hard to make them not look chubby. very few selection of cloths and espacilly hair. but i have only played the beta so i might not be totally right ;)

They weren't as cruel as I would have been in the name of comedy.... but seeing the group of like 9 adoring fans outside the Theater is a pretty good indirect burn without being obvious I guess. And what language in on the matinee sign at the theater? Arabic?

Can't wait for the Sims 3 it's going to be AWESOME! I'm glad to hear that about the leak, that's what they get!

From what I understand the leaked version is an older version of the game that includes SecuRom. Also you won't be able to download the other neighborhood that's coming out for the game or be able to use the Sims3Exchange. I've heard that the pirated game will try to connect to the exchange and that EA will know who's copy is legit and who's isn't. There's a news article about all this over at www.uoem.com

i was super psyched but then i realized i dont think my computer can handle this, even though it can handle sims 2 flawlessly and this doesnt seem to be too much of a graphical update. disappointment
