AK-47s do not have silencers. I make my own silencers with titanium alloyd and the bones of deceased girly men. lol.
Seriously, I would have more than AK-47s at my disposal. I'm from Kentucky and I love to hunt for deer. Been doing it my whole life. Plus I work at a prison where I have to qualify with a 9MM, ak-47, M16, Shotgun (mostly elephant rounds) and a sniper rifle (when I was on ther SORT team but I don't train for sniper rifle use anymore). Trust me, you want to be in my group.
This is the kinda dude that would get shot in the head by someone without thinking if the situation ever rose. You're right - it would be about survival - but rarely would someone survive on their own without the help of others or the help of a group concept. People like you don't work well in groups. If a group of these men gets large enough, it will ultimately self-destruct itself as there are a bunch of trigger happy, angry men hanging around each other. That is logic.
The apocalypse won't be like a ****ing video game dude. You won't get any extra points for headshots. Just because you're good with a gun won't make you any more prepared for disaster than say - a doctor, a match teacher, or someone who can get creative with a few rocks and a twig. It sounds like you would probably be outsmarted pretty easily. Your methods are predictable and unoriginal and I don't think you have any real perspective of what surviving an apocalypse would actually be like. It sure as hell won't be like cowboys and indians. - Jul 11, 2012 12:29 pm GMTI was shocked to see how many people left the food when I beat it. Car wasn't locked if someone was wanting to store it for safe keeping they wouldn't have left the car open. Hell even if it was locked I would broken in and taken it, your morals aren't going to keep you from starving to death or give you the strength to keep struggling against the walkers.

PSN: Geoff-C- - Jul 11, 2012 12:37 pm GMTAgree Coutts. People who did not take the food are not playing the game correctly. There thinking right or wrong but NOT what you would do. You just ONLY had 4 little items to give to 10 people. FOUR. FOUR. You were duped into thinking this entire time you were going to get fed creating more stress on your body at the farm. You suffered a terrible ordeal thinking you were getting fed at the farm and almost died. Surely at this time, members of the group would be exhausted and near a starving stage. The car had its lights on, keys in the ignition, and if anyone wanted to keep the car hidden with all of those supplies, they surely would have shut off all lights and everything to try to attract as little attention as possible. You need that food to survive and keep going to try to hunt.

The reason the people left the car was because they were running away from the hoody.

I'm calling your BS, you sound more like a 13 year old kid than a guy who works at a prison. Here are my reasons why:
1. No American government institution uses AK-47s
2. Elephant rounds? (you mean Slugs?)
3. Sniper Rifle? Don't make me laugh, any rifle can be a 'sniper rifle' even your M16 can be, just mount a scope and keep it in semi-auto fire mode. - Jul 17, 2012 10:45 am GMTYankStank posted...

A game that isn`t about survival but about moral choices is being played incorrectly when one doesn`t concentrate on survival but on morals? XD

You know what I think? **** those bandits and **** Clemintine. This is about survival! If those bandits try to get around me, I'll kill them. If anyone gets in my way of killing them, I'll kill them too. Don't **** with me during a zombie apocolypse. If you don't follow my lead, I'll kick your tail out of the group or I'll kill you, plain and simple. This is the zombie apocolypse we are talking about.
In my eyes that attitude is more likely to get you killed. I refused the food. One, because I wanted Clementine to look up to me as a role model in that world which has not much left in. Two, that food could have come from the farm which would mean it is human.
It is the Zombie Apocalypse we are talking about but if we get rid of our morals then we are no better then the St. Johns, the Bandits or the Walkers.
Yeah.....morals are kind of out the window when it comes to a Zombie Apocolypse. I agree to disagree with you on this one. As far as keeping moral up withing the group, you can go off into a corner and make love to a woman in the group or dance or something. Just as long as it's not loud. As far as food go, we look for it. When we find it, we share it. If it's short supplies, we break it in half and share it. If that's not good enough for you, your out of the group.
Making a choice like that to me seems like the easy way out for me. I would not care if the world has gone to hell I would keep my morals because when the world tries to rebuild we have something we can stick by instead of taking what we want and killing who we want.
If someone disagreed in my group I would not get rid of them as that would make the group weaker. I will take all the help I can get even if people do not agree with my choices but no matter what they still will help.
See, that's where you totally screwed yourself over. In the Walking Dead series comic, tv show or game everyone in that universe is screwed. Why? Because everyone is already infected. Your infected, I'm infected. EVERYONE is infected. That means when you die rather from wounds sustained in battle or just by old age, you will become a zombie. So, as pessimistic as it may seem, there will be no "world tries to rebuild". As long as there are people, zombies will exist. That's the sad truth of it. And what's even worse in regard to the Walking Dead universe is that there is no cure for it and there won't be. So yeah, my morals are out the window. I would live my life out as a means to SURVIVE and not make petty mistakes in the process. When it's my time and I know it will be, I will leave the group and go my own way and possibly go out in a blaze of friggin glory taking as many of the Walkers with me as possible. Just my two cents.
I'm pretty sure that this idea has completely passed you by, but civilization doesn't have to stop just because people are infected. When the majority of walkers die off and the only new ones are those that die of natural causes, you know what happens? Society creates a tradition where the dead are burned or staked through the head ASAP, and after several generations, nobody remembers why anymore.
Showing emotion and feeling empathy is the sign of a healthy human being. You know what they call people who lack this ability? Sociopaths. And sociopaths get shot in the face for being a danger to the children in the group.

Have you seen the traffic? Its a nightmare on elm street! - Jul 18, 2012 3:56 am GMTYankStank, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you on a video game social board over petty things. If you must know, I do work at a federal prison. I'm a happily married man, I'm 28 years of age and my favorite hobbies are gaming, working on cars and hunting deer and wild turkey. Now that you have a little insight of who I actually am, know that this is a message board about video games. Don't attempt to bring this whole debate over the outcome of a friggin video game to a personal level of attacking my character. You know nothing about me and although this is internet land, where trolls and flames are part of the norm, you are crossing the line and I sincerely hope that your post, which is the sole purpose of a flamming someone you don't know will be deleted and moderated yet again with the loss of those precious little kharma points.
1. You are correct about institutions not proceeding with AK-47s. I just put that in there because I was having fun posting because originally, that's what this post was. I do have to qualify for the M16, 9MM and Shotgun on a regular bases, however. I will state no more than that.
2. They are slugs. However, another term for it are elephant rounds which is a higher power of slugs which causes a greater kick-back when you use the shotgun.
3. Of course you can add sniping to any form of equipment, just like you can simply place a good scope on any gun such as a classic winchester 30/30 to go hunting with.
Anyways, I kind of feel that this topic has went from having fun and investigating peoples choices to just simply attacking people for no reason. Then again, this is the internet so no harm done. I would take the food from a car that no one else is around despite what a little girl says, because it's the Zombie Apocolypse and it's about survival. Those are my two cents.

http://i1076.photobucket.com/albums/w454/JECPB/DSC01719.jpg - Jul 25, 2012 7:25 pm GMTIf children aren't specifically taken care of by any group then there is no real hope for the human race to persist longer than the generation of the initial breakout.
That would make any initial survival completely pointless, and if the children aren't really taught any form of morality then when they grew up they may well grow up to be completely xenophobic towards every other group of survivors they encountered. And if no new children are born then the birth rate would be completely zero...

Has anyone thought that Clem having the hoodie in the next episode will make any difference than Clem NOT having the hoodie? I remember when she took the hoodie, Kenny made some comment about it starting to get cold and that she'd need it. Anyone think Clem might get sick easier if she doesn't have the hoodie?
I'm trying to understand the balance of taking the supplies from the car vs not taking them. Obviously, not taking them earns brownie points with Clementine. But what's the benefit to taking them? Either way, everyone takes the food anyway.
Also, I saw someone on here mention that they think the car might be the same one that's featured in Jolene's camera for a few split seconds. If so, wouldn't this car be the bandits car? And might they see Clementine with their hoodie on and be more likely to attack?
What do you think happened with Jolene and the bandits in that really short scene on her camera?
A hoodie can protect one more from zombie scratches and she is less likley to get sick with a warm hoodie.
The benefit of taking them I guess shows you are willing to help others (assuming you're forced to share it again)
I think the bandits raped Jolene, and she took some items and went rouge. She reconized Jolene somehow and was stalking the main team, focasing her annimosity towards Lee the most. - Aug 9, 2012 8:08 pm GMTI love how so many people never get the point of survival horror/apocalypse type games. The entire premise and point of the characters and story is ALWAYS humanity. Turning into a douchebag and throwing out your morals is exactly what the opposite of how all these stories go. It's always the psychopaths vs. people that can maintain their humanity. How often does the total jackass make it in these movies? Not very often. The bastion of humanity and moral decency almost always makes it.
