Looks like the whole Island is one big tomb, LOL!
Seriously though, this demo looks tight. I'm liking what I've seen here!

Lara Croft is back in this gameplay demo for Tomb Raider at E3 2012.

Leave it to Square Enix to make another interactive Cutscene. First, Final Fantasy. Now, Tomb Raider.
@Doddie Really, you're gonna compare a game to Drake? Talk about all flash no SUBSTANCE. Lets hope this game is NOTHING like Drake. Really dude you need to work on your analogies because that's just awful.
@emzeesquaredsame could be for you. Drake was a great enjoyable game and I believe TR will be the same or more. At least, it is not a slash and hack mindless game
I'm glad Tomb Raider isn't trying to be a "better Uncharted" but rather a survival horror twist to the platforming genre. Tons of upcoming games will probably copy this approach.
This game looks amazing. I am a big Lara Croft fan since the first ever tomb raider.
Looks good , also looks like there's forced cut scenes ever minute or so which is insanely annoying when having to re-spawn a bunch.
Super cold and no nip ? she is a super hero.(really like the "real" look finally)
This game will be OK i think, I dont realy think it will rock my world.. thats my thoughts
This looks great. Graphics finally impress on a Tomb Raider game, and the combat isnt the same weak lock on targeting used since 1996. Hallelujah!
i want to get this across to people..... tomb raider is not a rip off of uncharted, tbh uncharted properly wouldn't be around if it wasn't for the old tomb raider games.
She needs hairy armpits to up the realism. Otherwise, looks very good. Bit of Red Dead there with the rain and blood on the screen.
@nanquan72 I rather not look at her armpits throughout the game. Plus I'm sure she shaves her pit hair.
HUMOR is my favorite part in Uncharted franchise, Tomb Raider is seriously lacking in that development... I think, I'll wait till it become really cheap.)
I don't get it either. If anything, Tomb Raider existed way before Uncharted, and Pitfall, before that. This Tomb Raider is far more impressive than Uncharted.
resembles batman AA/AC more than it does uncharted. never played a tomb raider game before. this looks very interesting. its officially on the radar.
why did no one moan about uncharted being like tomb raider? because lets have it right that was a blatant copy they just swapped Lara for some annoying scot
all these games like the new star wars or this game try so hard to copy from Uncharted's animation and cinematic style but they simply can't copy from the master piece. Even though i have respect to tomb raider franchise, but it's better for them to find their own path of game designing rather than copying , after all this game has a legacy and originality.
@Aria1368 Every idea, more often than not, gained inspiration from another idea. Some of the best ideas in fact come from improving upon others.
This game thus far looks amazing. Taking "cinematic style" your words, in fact comes from cinema. Uncharted style was inspired by games like tomb raider and movies like Indiana Jones. They did a grand job of pulling their ideas together and executing them in such a way that it made a game that quite a few people love.
Now these guys are doing just the same. Taking great ideas and applying their story and character to them trying to create something else different and yet just as engaging.
@Aria1368 How would you have it, guy? Last I looked at release dates, Tomb Raider has been around about 3 times as long as Uncharted, so really bro. Enlighten us- How would you have it. This is exactly what the game should look like whether it resembles Uncharted or not. Grow up already.

She's young, she will learn... OH MY GOD I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SAY THAT ABOUT LARA CROFT!!! :D
Looks spectacular!
but if it turns out to be another Uncharted, then I'll pass. it gets stale man.
and then they're gonna make a multiplayer mode to make up for the (no-replay value).
actually, how about a multiplayer mode based on exploration rather than combat? find a treasure before your friend does.
@meedokicky When did games become about getting 500 hours of gameplay out of every dollar you spend. I remember the days of spending my 50 bucks and getting the 15 to 40 hours of entertainment that I paid for. Everyone is so entitled now a days.
No one goes to the movies and when its over says... wheres my multiplayer. OR my special cut dvd or sequel that they hand you on the way out. No. You paid to see the movie. You saw it. The end. You want to see it again, you pay again. People watch movies multiple times, but you're watching the same thing over and over. IF a game tells a story though, people are like "theres no replay value".
You bought entertainment, you were entertained. Buy another game.
@sknight175216 You should Man Tomb Rider is one of the most awesome games ever created , u should try any Tomb rider games before this one hehe
ok so now that they've rebooted tomb raider i think its about time for a new legacy of kain, make it happen
I hope they go with a more mature theme and exploit the hell out of a more gritty atmosphere.
I was concerned the entire game would be like Uncharted, bits of gaming interlaced with theatrics. But this seems to put a greater emphasis on fleshing out gameplay elements. Looks good
Hahahha you seriously think Max Payne 3 is a reboot? Come on man if you don't know what a word means they don't talk about it. Also Rockstar did a great job with Max Payne 3.
Kryptonbornson is right. MP3 feels like a reboot than an actual sequel. MP2, remedy did a good job ending it and there isnt really any loose end in the story.
@Stoopid_Fool No, it's just so different than the other Max Payne games that it doesn't really pass as a sequel. It's more like Call of Duty than Max Payne. It's about as much as a reimagining of Max Payne as say...how the Batman movies do. They might not explicitly say they've started over, but you know they have.
@Kryptonbornson It isn´t reboot, its a sequel for christ´s sake. Get your terms right.
