QTE? maaaan... have they forgotten what gaming is all about??..it's about 'control' and the ability to 'manipulate' your character in a way that does not seem 'scripted'...Where is the fun in pressing a specific button at a specific time?!!!
Looks wicked! I'd sooner have a more realistic Lara than "invincible oh look at me i'm so amazing" Lara.
Im a bit annoyed at the quick time events, its played out and its not really fun. Obviously thats just my opinion, but i think they dont suit Tomb raider. Tomb raider to me was always a game that you had to find your own way through and the action was your own action, not quick time driven. Just my opinion! Still looking forward to it though, it looks great,the gritty atmosphere is definitely a selling point for me!
A game that People love? I did loved the tomb raider games but they made it gory. They made it look like a Resident Evil game. Not all people like gory games.
looking forward to this game,this is really a reboot.from what i have seen so far,i think it,s safe to say Lara is back in tomb raider.
@SppartartBynes I am not crying now how can I play the dam game(in your words) if I am not buying it. Let me say the number of Tomb Raider games you played no Tomb Raider games played and the number of Tomb Raider Games you own no Tomb Raider games owned. So I feel very strongly about my comment and I do not care if no-one agrees with it. I got Tomb Raider Underworld for the PC and the PS3(I supported them so they can go kiss Microsoft about Tomb Raider Underworld DLC exclusive to the Xbox360)and they said no Tomb Raider underworld DLC for PC or PS3 was the only time in my life I ever cried. You are making as if Crystal Dynamics is the only developer in the world a-lot of developers would love to be making Tomb Raider. I see in this game no difference in game-play and camera that some gamers complained about in previous games and animation of the Lara model is not very good the new Lara because covered with dirt and blood feels pain does not impress me and saying she looks real makes me laugh.
@rebfaction Stop crying and play the dam game, i have never missed a tomb raider game and i never will, you should be greatful they are making another tomb raider.
The remake of Lara Croft and the reboot of Tomb Raider looks like crap to me and I hate all the changes to Lara. I always seen Lara as a strong willed fearless independent women making Lara feel pain does not impress me I have never skipped I Tomb Raider game I am not buying this Tomb Raider. Crystal Dynamics has no right to remake reboot they are not the original developers and say forget what you know and love about Tomb Raider and take away what Core Design has done. I am still pissed off at them about Tomb Raider Underworld DLC and who gets it was a big slap in the face. Screwing up Tomb Raider Underworld to justify the changes.The biggest screw-up is the box-art Tomb Raider Underworld the idiots cut off Lara's head. The only ones that complain about Lara and Tomb Raider Is the nay sayers Tomb Raider haters and gamers that hate playing as a female.
i have high hopes for this hope they don't mess it up......because i was a fan of this game still is but something went wrong in between..so i hope this overhaul makes me a fan 100% again because i really love what i am seeing now...because you know Lara is a bad a-s.
A long time for the release, almost a year from now. They just dont have to do a good job, but a great job for gamer to enjoy the reboot. Hope they dont mess it up
I really don't like the look of it, I could be wrong but it sounds like they're trying a similar thing to Metroid: Other M, and I can just see it going wrong...I mean listen to Lara, she's got a different scream for every occasion, and I bet she'll never shut up through the entire game! R.I.P. the Legend series....
1 thing is sure for every release..lara always becomes hotter and hotter..either through character design..or graphic technology advancement

The camera looks absolutely horrible. Everything else looks pretty awesome. While yes, Lara is pretty and everything, it'd be kinda nice to see where one is going. Hopefully it's not a persistent problem...

Looks to be a hit and I haven't played a Tomb Raider game since I was young lad. I didn't like the direction they took the game. I love the gritty-feel of this installment along with the fact that Lara actually looks like a normal chick and not a bimbo. I pray to God they don't screw this up.
very inspiring intro, i though they would do another part of the original story but it was getting old, a reboot sound great
i hate quicktime type stuff, like god of war was great, but that type of gameplay ruins much of the fun in the rest of the game
I am PRAYING that this game is filled with the classic run, jump, grab gameplay that made Tomb Raider a unique game to play.
You know what, tomb raider games always have had been interestingly awesome from the begining and i think this one right here is so flipping awesome that i CAN NOT WAIT for this one! i really love the graphics, the gameplay, the voices, and especially the quick timed events... I hope you guys still go fourth with the Tomb Raider franchies..
Since I haven't played any of the Tomb Raider games in the series I can't say much but what I know is that they were going off track of the good path they took with the first games. This one now looks a lot interesting even though there's still plenty of things to see. For me it has the dark feeling of Arkham Asylum and The Dark Knight (the movie) with Uncharted air. Some can say it may not be original but if using a great formula delivers a great result so be it!!! High expectations here.
This game will rekindle the flame for The Tomb Raider Series for me. The series went off the path and now its has returned even better than before. I will be pre-ordering when available. This game is high on my to play list.
I just wanna see what the rest of the game is gonna be like if the intro (which we must have seen far too many times now) doesn't reflect the majority of the game. I need more info!!!
Looks great, I can't wait to play it! From the limited previews so far it looks like it's following in Uncharted's footstep, which is a good thing.
