ok, so #1 make your camera move and zoom around 360+
.. #2 make all buildings movable in some way, land sea air ground ?.. #3 make individual units playable, snipers, tanks, spys, etc... #4 good luck ... and don't bother if it only 'competes' with sc2, cause sc2 sucks!
2 Like Unless any game companies make an RTS that could even compete with SC2 wich was released all that way back in 2010 they shouldnt even make it because it wont have any succes. For what i see here this game is probably going to be released in 2013 and the graphics are not even close compared to SC2 wich is already a couple years old. Blizzard raised the RTS standars with graphics animations and mechanics wise and if they cant make a game better or even as good as them its not worth it.

1 Like Amazes me how little the RTS genre has evolved over the years. This looks like it plays almost exactly the same as Starcraft II which plays almost exactly like the original Starcraft which played a lot like Warcraft.

1 Like I am a huge fan of RTS games but have spent quite a long time away from it due to the fact i don't have PC anymore. I'm buying a new laptop so i was planning on getting back into the RTS grove, but after looking around i haven't found many new RTS games I'd be interested in at all. May just have to fall back on the oldies (AOE 1//2/3, BFME1, and my old C&C Tiberian sun haha). This game looks ok from what I've seen but nothing mind blowing good. Too bad there wasn't a AOE 4 on the way
@blairstheman where is a website that tracks popularity of games, how many people are still playing xyz game?
1 Like @blairstheman try playing supreme commander or supreme commander f.a. if you want a real sense of shock and awe with an rts game.
Plus try sins of a solar empire also a realy good rst game..

1 Like The art-style yells Starcraft to me and that guy from the developers has an annoying voice.
it looks like a pretty good RTS... Sometimes i do get the sense that Kevin VanOrd feels a bit awkward when he makes these videos for us sometimes, and the units look out of scale, like the soldiers look a lil huge compared to buildings... @ 13:40 with the jetpacks of the video...
1 Like I really hope this game is original as my modest collection of RTS games have left the bitter taste of disdain in my mouth for a genre that seems to suffer from cloning sickness.
