Developers show off their demos for a big chunk of Vita launch titles.
Give me Dragon Age Origins, the Jak, Ratchet, Sly, and Ico collections....and i will buy this thing... Please!!!
I hope they'll also make some more games for mature gamers, I don't think there was a lot of them on PSP, that's why I didn't buy it. Maybe Fallout or Skyrim type games, and a bit less arcady racing games would be nice during 12 hour working days... :)
If I get to be a graphic whore for a moment, I can't wait to see what Squarenix can do with this platform and I hope Naughty Dog releases a game of their own too. My god I'm psyched for this.
One of my biggest complaints with the original PSP were its horrible controls. Looks like the Vita has finally solved that problem. My second biggest complaint with the PSP was that most of the games were just half baked ports of PS3 games. I unfortunately see that trend continuing. At the very least this handheld looks much better than the failure of the Nintendo 3DS. I would love to see a Limbo sequel on this.
Very nice use of the back and front touch screens. I can't wait to play this system. I haven't been following it that much, so does anybody know how games are going to be played? Are they download only?
@ KillerLiew - Umm... your going to wack off to porn on it? :/ maybe you should re-word that comment. XD
It looks great and i really am impressed but i refuse 2 buy one for my own reasons not because i feel it will fail like the psp did but....#1 reason to expensive #2 i went thru like 2 or three psp's lost, broken, or stolen so i can take a hint and accept that fate is saying i shouldn't have one
I'm really impressed by the graphics and the smooth gameplay. I was a handheld player as a child, but by watching this its pushing me to purchase it.
Just want ruin, and that's going to be on PS3 as well. Looks like a fun device, but I already have a tablet, netbook, smartphone and laptop dock for said smartphone. They are all meant for the same use and a vita would just be a tertiary wasted device for me... Cancelled preorder and hopefully won't get one anytime soon XD
@usermikey Same here, the Vita will be my first handheld since the GBA SP, although I'm not sure about getting it on release because of the price :|
Love the look & design. Will be my first handheld since GBA SP. Too bad I never got PSP, the PSP titles I wanted either became PS2 games or Ps3 ones lol... [with the exception of RPG's]
As pissed as I am about the asinine backwards compatibility "solution" and the steep memory card prices, I must admit the VITA does look like it's shaping up rather nicely. Then again, the game I'm mostly looking forward to is the Persona 4 remake so I guess I can wait.
I really love the new IPs like Gravity Daze, Sound Shapes, Unit 13, and Escape Plan. It's good to see Sony experiment. I'm also looking forward to Lumines, Super Stardust Delta, and, of course, Uncharted :P
I have to say: If you are not an uncharted fan, there really isn't much at launch. I'm sure there will will be more titles, and hopefully shortly after - as I would be happy to own this system aswell, but not without games I want.
