I actually saw the first Megan Fox picture on a gaming magazine where she said that she loves the Mortal Combat games and that she's extremely good at them. I've grown to like her a lot, I'm actually thinking of getting a poster of her in my room I really want to watch Jennifer's Body too(obviously) Great picture of the month too... will all my comments to you be based on Megan Fox? probably which is a good thing right?

How's Arkham Asylum? I really need that one! American History X is a really good movie, I need to see Requiem For A Dream.

Sparda_13 - Yup Megan's a gamer. Hard to believe but I believe it to be true. Jennifer's Body wasn't bad, although it wasn't good either. Probably worth seeing, especially for a Megan Fox fan. I don't mind talking about Megan Fox with you

Zeromus1337 - I haven't played Arkham Asylum yet. I just need to finish up Sly 2 and Beatles Rock Band before I start it. I love American History X as well as Requiem For A Dream. Hopefully you're able to see it soon.

There is not a chance I'll watch Requiem for a Dream again. I have multiple tabs open, so when I checked here I thought you were someone else and I was wondering about the choices of games and posters. Mulholland Drive is one of my favourite movies and is very intriguing.

Hey there Looks like a slow month for you, you haven't watched many movies compared to other months. Hope you've had a great time out, gotta make the most of the end of the nice weather in our hemisphere. Hugs

kingkilla3 - You are far from the first person I've heard say that. For some reason I enjoy watching it again. Mulholland Drive was good, very confusing though. Are you a David Lynch fan?

boom-moo - It was a slow month for movies but overall September wasn't slow. The nice weather is quickly disappearing But it's ok, changes are always good I guess.

I'm interested in his movies, though I haven't watched many.

Nice monthly progress LD. I will eventually get Arkham Asylum, but for the PS3. (Speaking of which, do you have a PS3? Me? I bought one last month and have been active on games like LBP (the only game I have at the moment).)

    LD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see that you picked up a lot of games for this month rather than DVD's. I too got some new games. BioShock, inFamous, and my brother bought Prince of Persia. What's his is mine and what's mine ISN'T his.

Ooh, sexy Megan poster. Me like-y.

You sure watched Requiem For a Dream a lot this month.
I just rented out 2001: A Space Odyssey yesterday!!! Was it as good as everyone says it is?
I saw Braveheart a while ago. It's a great film. Very gory.

How was Jennifer's Body? No, I'm not going to expect Oscar for Best Picture.

BAH! You played Sly 2?!!! So jealous! I've always wanted the Sly games when I was younger, but I want them more now because of inFamous.

Ooh, sexy Megan once more. Me like-y even more.

Hope you have an even better October than you did September.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I finally watched American Beauty. By God! That film was amazing!

Oh, how I love the Inglorious Basterds... What a movie by Tarantino. All the actors and actresses were perfect for the roles... Brad Pitt was quite outstanding... Anyway, has to be my movie of the year.

You watched 2001: A Space Odyssey! Nice, did you like it but most importantly, did you get it? The reason I ask is because I am actually doing a countdown on my top 5 Kubrick's film and be sure that 2001: A Space Odyssey will be there.

Yeah, Sly 2. Someone still remember him. lol. It was such a great game, boy, I had a fun time playing the first and the sequel. I especially like how they spoofed MGS. lol. That was a neat touch.

    Anyway, until next time.

kingkilla3 - I'm the same way. I've only seen Mulholland Drive but I do plan on watching his other films soon. Blue Velvet and Eraserhead are at the top of the list. I find Lynch a little fascinating.

TriEdgeFury26 - lol, Braveheart had a lot of great quotes in it, more than I thought. I like the sound of her being mine

NuKkU - Yes I do, just a little It was a big Megan Fox month now that I think back on it.

6h05tly - Yes I have a PS3. I don't use it much, but I do play PS2 games on it now and again. Be sure to add me on PSN

    RacoonusDoodus - I knew you'd like that

synyster-666 - HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII I hadn't bought a game in a long time. This is also the first time in a very long time that I bought a book, or didn't buy a blu-ray. I want to get InFamous but I fear it will get lost in all the games that are coming out this Nov/Dec. Can't go wrong with a poster of Megan Fox on your wall 2001: A Space Odyssey was...interesting. I didn't like it much. For some reason I had fairly low expectations for Braveheart but ended up loving it. Jennifer's Body was alright. Not bad but not good. I felt the downfall of the movie was not the acting (not sticking up for Megan) but was the writing which surprisingly came from Diablo Cody, an oscar winner. I didn't like Juno either though. The Sly Cooper series has always been one of my favourite series. Hopefully you can play them some time. I really like that picture of Megan. Shows how beautiful see really is without showing her body/skin. I'm glad you watched and liked American Beauty. It's funny how similar our taste in movies are.

Thomas-Crown - My favourite movie of the year so far as well. Loved it, just loved every minute of it. Funny how you asked me if I got 2001 because if I could sum it up in any way I would say I disappointingly did not get it. I loved all the other Kubrick movies I've seen though, but 2001 just didn't do it for me. I'll never forget Sly and the gang. It was nice to go back and replay them.

  • kingkilla3

Blue Velvet is the other one I've watched. I didn't like it as much as Mulholland Drive, but for others it could be the other way around.

Sly 2 is the best in the trilogy, in my opinion. I played the demo of Arkham Asylum, and it was great. I look forward to playing the full game sometime.

  • 5_LD_5

kingkilla3 - Blue Velvet sounds very good. It will be interesting comparing it to Mulholland Drive. By the way, who is that exactly, in your avatar? and what's he doing?

ShadowLaguna - I agree it is the best of the series. Hopefully Arkham Asylum lives up to the hype.

paul939 - Really? You don't recognize Megan Fox?

NoAssKicker47 - 360's are great. Hopefully you're able to get one.

PJ24 - Yeah! Another Styx fan? Styx fans are kind of hard to find now a days It's a cool poster to have if you like AC/DC.

    MorkkiTH - I haven't started it yet.

Primo295 - I haven't played it yet but it does look to be a very good game. That's fine if you don't like The Beatles, we all have different tastes in music. What kind of music do you like? Yeah it is pretty

It's Freddie Mercury in the video for "I'm Going Slightly Mad" from 1991. He's sitting about with a daffodil as he sings, "One thousand and one yellow daffodils begin to dance in front of you - oh dear".

  • synyster-666

Yeah, I was really, really, really surprised that you bought a book and no Blu-rays.
Dude, trust me. Get inFamous. It is so worth your time and effort. The story to it is quite awesome too, because the moral choices make it really fun to play.
WHAT ABOUT OCTOBER?!!! Uncharted 2 and Ratchet & Clank are coming out then!!!
I guess you'd have to see a movie like 2001: A Space Odyssey at the time it was made or prior to 2001 in order to fully appreciate it.
Yeah, Braveheart is a brilliant film. Mel Gibson sure has an eye for violence.
Oh right, I forgot that Diablo Cody wrote that film. I remember seeing her on Letterman when Juno came out and she mentioned something like that, I think. I've been wanting to watch Juno for a while but I never get around to it.
I played a bit of the first Sly Cooper back in 2003 when I first came to Australia. I'd always wanted to purchase the games after that, but I never got around to it.
Yeah, the lighting really compliments her looks in that picture. I wish Transformers 2 had more moments like that.
    Yeah, it is.

vidplayer8 - Thanks. Sounds like you didn't have a very good month.

    kingkilla3 - Thanks I've always liked Freddie.

synyster-666 - There are so many games that would be worth my while. I can't buy all of them and there's not enough time to play them all. I miss out on a lot of games but for the most part I play the best ones. I'll be getting Uncharted 2 for sure. Fine, the rest of the year If I watched 2001 in 1968 I still don't think I would have got it...but you never know, Have you watched 2001 yet? Diablo Cody is overrated in my opinion. There is such a big difference between Sly 1 and Sly 2. The first Sly is great but they really take it to the next level in the sequel. That scene with Megan early in Transformers 2, when the camera circles around with the sun shining on her....it's such a lovely scene.

Have you picked up Uncharted 2 yet?

I tried watching 2001 last week. By God, that film put me to sleep. The soundtrack was like a lullaby. I think that was mainly because I was sleep deprived and fatigued and it was 11:00PM in the night, but you never know. I enjoyed A Clockwork Orange way more than 2001, to be honest. The film is too slow for me.

I haven't seen any of her films, so I can't say much.

Damn, I need to find the Sly games some time then. You make them sound hella fun.

Yeah, it is. Wish Michael Bay could get more shots like that. I stand by what I always say though; if they made a film of just Megan in that one scene, they'd cash in more than they would with a crappy flick about robots that existed before man.

  • 5_LD_5

    Posted Oct 15, 2009 8:09 pm PT

synyster-666 - No, but I hope to soon. Slow movies can be very good if done right and if they pace them in a certain way. 2001 just took slow and boring to a whole new level I hate to say. Very surprising coming from Kubrick. I don't know if the Sly games would hold up to the games of today, they do for me but I don't know if they would for anyone playing them today for the first time. A movie with just Megan Fox being sexy won't work (Jennifer's Body). I really do like the Transformers series, with or without Megan. She does make it better though
