    How is saw the game?
    i keep forgetting it exists.
    picking up Borderlands?

PJ24 - Actually I played a lot of Saw the day before Halloween. On Halloween I was....out

    Primo295 - True enough

phoenyx9 - The biggest gaming month in a very long time. I read Craig Fergusons American on Purpose at the beginning of October and now I'm reading Shutter Island.

vidplayer8 - Saw is pretty good. It's got it's problems and it's far from perfect but overall it's a lot better than you'd think. I'd get Borderlands but there are so many other games I'd rather get. As of now I don't think I'll have enough money or time for it.

Hey there Glad to hear you enjoyed your October. What's your favourite Saw movie? Even though horror is not my thing, I loved Saw. Then I watched Saw II and Saw III but I was disappointed by both, I didn't really enjoyed the way the story was being stretched so I refused to watch Saw IV and Saw V. Am I missing on something good? Hugs

Sure sounds like you had a great month. 28 Days Later is a good movie, and I need to see Braveheart. I had completely forgotten about watching Toy Story 1 & 2 in 3-D. I so need to get Arkham Asylum.

LD!!! Good to see that you had a great October. That's a lot of pick ups! How is Transformers 2 on Blu-Ray?

Eww, you bought that old Batman film on Blu-Ray? Kidding. I wouldn't mind seeing Braveheart on Blu-Ray considering how gory a masterpiece it is.

Ooh, you watched Se7en for the first time! Did you like it? I watched it a few weeks ago and I thought it was brilliant. It reminded me a lot of Saw, except in the perspective of the cops, not the victims. I loved the ending to the film as well, and Kevin Spacey plays such an amazing villain.

Great to see that you've been gaming a lot more this month. That is one sexy pic of Megan too. I like her... um... stockings or whatever they are... ...

I hope you have a great November dude.

boom-moo - I think I remember you mentioning that you liked Saw. The first one is my favourite followed closely by the second one. For me the films after the second one are alright, not up with the first two but not bad. I haven't seen Saw VI yet though and I've been hearing good things. If you didn't like the Saw II then you probably wouldn't like the ones after that. I think the thing with Saw is that people label them as only being gruesome, torture movies when in fact there are all lot more to them. They actually have some pretty good story lines and mystery to them, mostly with the first and second one though.

Zeromus1337 - I've been trying to rent 28 days later for months now but I only saw it when I was renting other movies. Of course when I went to rent 28 days later they never had it. Luckily I found it along with Batman to buy very cheep on Blu-Ray so I just went for it Too bad you missed out on the Toy Story double feature but hopefully you'll be able to catch them on Blu-Ray which I hope will be in the near future. You wouldn't regret buying Arkham Asylum

aaronmullan - It was a fun month

synyster-666 - DIL!!! Transformers 2 looks great on Blu-Ray. One of the very best quality Blu-Rays for video, audio and extras. I got to say I do love that old Batman movie. The perfect 'it's so bad its good movie I didn't find Braveheart too gory but that comes from a guy who is used to the Saw series Se7en was great. It reminded me of Saw as well which I liked very much. I thought every ones acting was spectacular. I like Megans bad girl look in the picture, she's just asking for it Thanks you too

ADAM WEST!!! W00t! I wonder when we get the double feature of Toy Story over here. I'm really looking forward to Toy Story 3. And a nice pic of Megan, yet again.

Cool - You brought SAW. How's the game? Is coming out in the UK on the 20th but I am a bit iffy about the game. Would you look at all those achievements! You can build the great wall of china with it. lol Well done.

I've watch Toy Story 1 in 3D as well - It was so amazing. Although when I saw it advertised in my local cinema, it reads TOY STORY 3D and I thought 'Cool, Toy Story 3 3D' lol Anyway, great month, like you've said and a great blog like always. Until next time.

Despite my schedule this semester, Ocarina of Time Master Quest would be my October game of the month (been finding this game for years).

Other than that, great list of acquisitions you shared with us (still neglecting my purchase for Batman AA) and good monthly blog in general

Saw and Halloween,eh? Not a bad choice at all.
I've grown a dislike towards anything to do with Transformers and Megan Fox after watching Transformers 2,so pardon me on that.
Arkham Asylum looks amazing. I should get that one during Christmas probably.

ShadowLaguna - LOL Hopefully soon, I hate how they release movies and games in other places at different times

    pigfish2 - I did, for sure.

    paul939 - Yeah, and Saw

Thomas-Crown - The game is actually a lot better than you'd think. I'm not sure if it would be worth the full price but definitely worth a rental. I went on a little bit of an achievement spree huh? Did they only show Toy Story 1 in 3D? I heard in some places they split up the two movies

6h05tly - I've only played a little bit of Ocarina of Time. I know I'm missing out, hopefully I'll play the rest of it one day. Thanks Play Arkham Asylum soon

lightwarrior179 - It's a good combination That's fine with me It looks and plays great. I think everyone was worried about how it was going to play but in the end no one was disappointed.

Did you watch Toy Story II in 3D?

  • synyster-666

    Posted Nov 7, 2009 6:13 pm PT

Better than TDK? I wish TDK had some better extras.
I don't think I've really found many movies like that... Oh wait, yeah I have. Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem was quite enjoyable for me, despite being a very short and lackluster film.
I don't find the Saw series all that gory. Although, I must say that Saw IV definitely took it up a gigantic notch compared to the previous films. I still haven't seen Saw V or VI though.
Se7en is easily a classic in the psychological thriller genre. The acting was brilliant, but I have to say that I enjoyed Kevin Spacey's performance the most. Plus, even though you don't get to see it, the 'Lust' murder was easily the most brutal.
You gotta say, having her hand between her legs and giving that sexy stare is... awesome.
    Thanks.

Cool purchases as always, I am a fan of the Saw series as well - the level of gore and torture is intense, I wouldn't have it any other way. Its great to see more of Megan Fox as well, I remembered that your last blog featured the vixen quite a number of times.
