Mass Effect 2 purchase TBD + A rare gaming find LOL

My purchase for the Mass Effect successor will have to wait for a bit. How long? A few days? Maybe a week? Eh? What? Sigh? All I know is that it will be a [short] while before I purchase the game [hopefully soon], so that makes me behind everyone that got their copy [I hates being last, ]

But that's not so depressing, if you think about it. It just sounds like it [from my bleak, ghostly perspective] .

I did buy a new game today, and it is one I've been trying to find for a while. Yes it's an RPG, and yes it's from the same dev behind Mass Effect.

The game, you ask? [Hold on! I'm gonna tell ya, sheesh!] Jade Empire. Sure I would have bought the game via Xbox Marketplace, but at 6 gigs?! And at 1200 MSP? My purchase was 66% cheaper and [hopefully] in fine condition. The last time I bought a game that looked in good condition was an RPG but my PS2 wouldn't read the disc [yes, it was FF12, sigh...].

Let's just hope this used copy works either on my Xbox or XB360. With my plans for ME2 pushing back whenever, I guess I'll enjoy my RPG greatness that came from last-gen, which I hope I enjoy [and in this case, I will in the end].

Oh, and I got my latest issue of GameInformer

    Silent Flower Hill

Last week, after putting it off for a while, I purchased Flower (PSN) and Silent Hill (PSone) via PlayStation Store.

I wanted to see what the fuss was about on Flower. After playing through the game last week, I was moved by the beauty of the game. Not just the graphics and gameplay, but the way I was able to see the flow of the flower pedals as an art form. I plan on writing a review sometime in the future once I play the game some more (and getting the trophies).

Silent Hill on the other hand is somewhat of a different approach. This is indeed the first game I've played in the series, and I'm not quite understanding how the game plays. Sure there are puzzles, but it is very complex (then again the other survival horror games I played has this same type of system. But that's just me, maybe your thoughts and opinions differ from mine.) I plan on playing the game some more, and maybe its remake via Wii once I get my hands on it that is.

That's all for today, See Ya!
