MLS and specially the LA Galaxy

Well the MLS season is just a couple of weeks away and for all you LA Galaxy fans out there you probably have one thing in mind, is David Beckham coming back to LA Galaxy. With both Beckham and Donovan out on loan to European teams, the people at the Galaxy probably thought what would happen if either if them didn't come back. Well we pretty much know for sure that Donovan is coming back from Bayern Munich but it's Beckham's future that is in doubt. Yes he plays great with the Galaxy but have you seen his influence with AC Milan?? He scored twice for Milan including a brilliant free kick goal against Genoa. Also, he has had a huge influence on the team with his superb crosses and dead ball skills. He has also expressed his desire to stay with AC Milan because he said even though the MLS is good, it is not as competitive as the European leagues and even Fabio Capello has said that if he stays in Italy, he will have a very high chance of being included in the 2010 World Cup squad. Although Milan has made a offer worth around $10 million for Beckham, the Galaxy has refused the offer and insist that Beckham will have to come back for the start of the new MLS season. This is pretty stupid because Beckham has a clause in his contract that will let him leave for FREE at the end of October or the end of the MLS season. So I think that MLS is being stupid because they should just take the transfer money and the other money they made from advertising him and use it to strenghten their team because as we all know having a superstar in your team won't improve your chances of winning unless you have a strong team. Just look at Manchester City if you need a example of a team with a lot of money and a superstar (Robinho) but they are 11th in the league and haven't got points from an away match in 14 matches.
