  The Wii

  Well, i am happy to say, that i got to play the Wii without having to give a store clerk any of my belongings as collateral. My friend Justin got a Wii for Christmas and he got the game Trauma Center: Second Opinion. The game is really cool, because you actually use the Wii-mote as a scalpel and cut these people open and whatnot. It is very Interesting, well, just thought you should know.

  My experience last year while waiting outside a best buy for an X-Box 360

  Now, as i realized that the one year aniversary was growing ever nearer towards me, i felt that i should put up a blog that i had written last year about the occasion which took place from December 17-18, 2005. Mind you, i wrote this a year ago....enjoy!

  I am still freezing from my epic journey with my friend Troy  at the Best Buy parking lot.......I had to stand there with him for 24 FREAKIN HOURS because he was getting a x-box 360.......we got there at around 7:45 AM Saturday morning and left With an x-box 360 around 8:05 Sunday Morning.....We thought it was cold during the day...then the sun went down, we had to sleep there and it was like 4 degrees that night....we only got around 1 hour of sleep because we were afraid that of we fell asleep we would freeze to death, there was around 15 employees in the store overnight and they wouldn't let us in at all not even to go  to the bathroom....I mean what if you had to crap...I mean you won't really suspect someone  if they are peeing on a tree but I think you will notice someone squatting by the tree......we brought the 3rd volume of family guy to watch and several other movies, Troy brought his PSP and I brought my DS. The people next to us were cool, like if we left to go inside during the day, they wouldn't take our spot in line, by the way we were FIRST in line (people would kill for a spot like that, or pay money as you will see later). The guy next to us, Jason, brought a kerosene heater with him that he brought out at around 12:30 AM which took like 15 minutes to light yet only lasted about 20 minutes.So yeah we were all freezing but the other people who came in their OWN cars could go inside the cars and put the heater on and warm up for 10 minutes, Troy and me don't have cars so we were freezing the entire time, if you ask either one of us if around 2:00 AM if we thought we were going to make us we will say probably not we actually thought we were going to die.  It felt as though 1 hour was 1 day and I didn't believe other people when they said that but now I do I have been through ice hell and back with Troy.  Jason's  brother came along around 3:00 PM to talk to him and im not sure how this happened but he found out that I wasn't buying a x-box (Yes, I wasn't buying one I spent 24 hours in wind chill hell to keep Troy company) so he gave me the money to buy him one AND he gave 100 dollars to do it, this just proves how crazy people are to buy one, I got 100 dollars to sit around and do nothing but freeze my butt off. Well there isn't much else to tell about the night portion except we went to McDonalds twice to try to get in to keep warm but they were closed and yet there was a person in there who kept saying "yo cant go in here" even after we told her we were freezing. when 7:00 AM slowly crawled around we all huddled around the door because that was when we were SUPPOSED to get in but NOOOOO lets make the people who may be dying from hypothermia and pneumonia wait LONGER to get in while we have enjoyed this hot store.The worst of it is they always knew we were there, they looked at us the entire time when they passed by like they were watching penguins at the zoo (we were so bundled up we probably looked like penguins). This one guy who came in to work earlier who had only walked from his car in the parking lot to the door to be let in the store had the nerve to say he was freezing!!!! HE KNOWS NOTHING OF FREEZING!!! Well we didn't get in the store until around 7:30 and we went into this room (and it was sooooo warm)  where they talked to us about the x-box and its accessories, the games that was out, stuff like that, and then they let us buy them. When I was at the register to turn in my ticket for the x-box the guys brother was already there waiting for me ( he scared the crap out of me, i was paying for the x-box and he cam up behind me and said "you got the goods?" I felt like i was in the fricken mob) when everything was all paid for and I gave him the x-box (which to my surprise was heavier than I thought) and he nearly dropped it, I was like HOLY CRAP WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!! and i was about to do one of those dramatic slo-mo dives screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!". We then left and I went home, I have first dibs over all of Troy's friends to play first because I waited with him, and I slept all day. Oh and Jason the guy next to us said one of the funniest things me and Troy have ever heard, we were talking about the 360 launch in November and he said people who were fighting with each other were getting tasered and the cops kept telling them to get up WHILE he was tazering them the funny thing he said was that and I quote "That's like kicking someone in the nuts and saying "GET A WOODY!".
