Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns Of The Patriots
I love this game, as all of the MGS games!
I haven't completed it yet, but I am getting pretty far in to it (Act 4). I have completed every main MGS game before-hand and I love all of them. For the people who absolutely love MGS games, you are in for a treat if you haven't got it yet or reached act 4 yet. It is awesome because of reasons not only because it is an awesome game... I will say no more just look forward to the act.
Up to this act, I finally understand pretty much everything that there is to understand about the story stretching over all of the MGS games, and I have to say it is one (or probably THE) best story I have ever understood. I have only seen the original Matrix movie but I know what it is all about, and I have to say MGS has a better story than that, and the Matrix is pretty crazy.
There is so much more to this game than you thought before, so if you think you know exactly what this game is like and don't really plan on getting it even if you have played past MGS games and are not really interested in it, I recommend you DO get this game. It is amazing. A LOT, and I mean, a LOT when I say this... cut-scenes are a LOT longer than every other MGS game before it. Pretty much any time there is a cut-scene where you need to find out information etc., it is VERY long. I think the longest one yet is around 50 minutes that I have encountered and it seems like I was watching it a lot longer than that, but the cut-scenes are fun to watch (not all of them if you don't really understand the story all that well, but there are some great cut-scenes, and for those who have already played the game, let's just say "bang... bang" if you know what I mean... that cut-scene is almost as awesome to watch as the beginning of the Saving Private Ryan movie... awesome.
I haven't finished it yet, so I will give my score later, but at the moment I think it will end up being a 9.5. Intense

Frontlines: Fuel Of War
Who else likes this game?
It is a game that you either love, or, well, hate...
I am not one to say a Single Player game is short, because whenever I read that every game takes me about a week to finish anyway, no matter how little or much I play the game... but I, for once, do have to say that I found this games Single Player Campaign to be pretty, well, short...
It is not much shorter than any other game that has come out in the past year or so, but it is noticable, in my opinion... I must have played 2 hours a day and each day I finished 2 chapters, and there are 7 in total, each chapter having 2 parts to it (an half of a chapter is noticed by loading screens and when the screen dulls down at the end of the mission. There was a space of 2 days that I didn't play the game at all, but if you put that together I played it 3 nights about 2 hours each and I had completed the game last night. There is no split screen co-op or split-screen Multiplayer. So that leaves us with a 1 Player Campaign, 2-12 people on System Link and 32 players on Xbox Live (well, In England anyway... America will soon get 50 player servers...). The Multiplayer on Xbox Live is fun, but at the moment the game is plagued with very bad lag (if it lags at all in a match it lags bad, if it don't lag at all you have a great game), some glitches (which are, by the way, caused by the lag), some hit detection issues (noticed mainly with a Sniper Rifle and Pistol). But they are working on all of these Multiplayer problems so it's all good. The graphics are okay, not something to drool about, but the graphics in the cut-scenes in the Campaign are pretty sweet. It is not for everybody, but I do enjoy the game and I am glad that I brought it. I am actually enjoying it more than I did with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat... and in the next Battlefield game there aren't planes or jets, and they are a big part of what makes this game so fun online, and it is just so fun shooting them down with an anti-vehicle weapon. Pretty short campaign (but very fun), great Multiplayer (will be even better after all of the fixes), okay graphics and just overall a fun experience should make you want to buy this game. If you are still unsure whether to purchase this game or not, there is a Single Player and a Multiplayer (Xbox Live) demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace to download. Both demos are an accurate representation of the full, purchaseable game. If you are only mildly into First Person Shooters, then you will need to check the demos out, but if you are an hardcore First Person Shooter fan I recommend you add this to your Xbox 360 collection. I give this game an 8/10.

Metal Gear takes Microsoft's place...
So, I got a few new games for my Xbox 360 for Christmas (which I have had just over a year, as I got it for Christmas 2006), and I had a feeling that my Xbox 360 would get the red ring of death just before Christmas... and it did, just over a week later and just over a year since I first got it which is weird... it is currently being repaired and so I have gone back to my PS2 for a while... I have started Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater again and I am having a blast... I actually hope I finish it again before my 360 comes back... I think that MGS3 is the most interesting story to play through of all 3 main Metal Gear Solid games, but maybe the reason I didn't say 2 is as interesting as 3 is because I have literally completed that game about 15 times now... (I got the game for my Birthday back in 2002...). I love the Metal Gear series (I really, really hope MGS4: Guns Of The Patriots makes it to Xbox 360...) I have been playing the MGS games since the first game with "Solid" in it (meaning, not counting the 80's "Metal Gear" games), since the game first came out 9ish years ago on the PlayStation...
I have just turned my PS2 off for the night (it is 02:26 am here in the UK and I just came on my PC for a bit before going to bed...). I have just got to the bit where...
**Spoilers... sort of**
You have the first gunfight with Ocelot, and then you fall down into that hole... I saved it there... love all the MGS games and I think 3 has the best bosses etc...
So, since I am currently playing a MGS game,I am just wondering what you guys think is the best one (includes every and any MG game ever)... and whoare your favourite and least favourite bosses?...
Later.
