Boy oh boy - I cannot believe it! It has been five years since I joined Gamespot and man time flies!

So what does five years means to me? I don't know as I haven't 'planned' anything yet. Yet one thing is for sure I'm gonna change the look of my profile. I think this will be my third change. I'm not sure of the theme thought however I was thinking in the lines of my favourite RPG character...perhaps.

Yet my main purpose on this site is writing / reading player reviews. So I guess I will continue on that path.

Speaking of reviews, there are some that I thought my feelings got the better of me therefore I'm planning a redux on a couple to see if I have wisen up. They are:

Red Faction / Tomb Raider / Far Cry / FEAR 2.

Yet I have done a couple of redux and thankfully I was happy with my score - they were FEAR / Project Snowblind. The rest though I am very happy with (maybe not the writing style however the overall score).

Why I choose those four are for the following reasons:

Red Faction - this one is personal. I remember I was going through a very rough period in my life and now looking back I shouldn't upload this review.

Tomb Raider - man the installation was a nightmare! I think that clouded my vision...

Far Cry - so many people 'recommended' this game to me yet the very same people didn't even finish it...and they contradict themselves all too often so I think I reviewed this game out of spite.

FEAR 2 - For some odd reason I thought my review / outlook seems incomplete. Again I don't know. Yet I gave FEAR 1 a score of 7.8 and FEAR 2 a 7.9 (yes I thought 2 was better by a whisker) however I want to give this another shot.

So yeah after five years I have learnt many lessons about reviewing games. And still learning today however I know one thing for certain...you guys rocks! Keep gaming and reviewing!

@Azghouls: Damn, I didn't even see this blog post from you before now but better late than never I guess. Congratz on your 5 (more like 6) years here on GS. Isn't it strange how a community can shift and change. You and I had plenty a good talk a few years back together with Talonfire and Fastpunk and a few others but now most of those guys have left and both you and I don't write that much anymore. Good to see that you are still gaming and having fun. Keep it up, mate.
